My perception of your tool is that it is an extremely advanced video player, in the way of Qiwio and Spott, so vidstep is probably not sophisticated enough. They have all constructed their tools with volume use in mind. Where the future earning model is on bandwidth or interactions and yours could be transcripts. But then it would need videos to be decoupled from transcriptions, and just as per your website it would need a separate transcription earning model - your unlocked is $8 per hour and your perfect $6.50 per hour and you would need something for appsumo as well as some kind of one-time volume, set-up.
If you do not want to host all the videos then somehow you would need to able to export video and transcripts with timecode highlights. Or allow videos hosted elsewhere to be transcoded with timecode highlights.

Your transcription is in the service of the video, to improve the user experience of the video its a B2C offering which is what elevates you from happy scribe or otter but I think it would really help if you saw yourself as competition from spott and qiwio in under to construct the right deal.
