Q: Need more details about Copilot feature!!
I was about to skip the deal before the price increase BUT I read in the description about the upcoming copilot feature and it seemed to be interesting! so I grabbed the deal but I (we) need much more detailed info about this because it can be a game changer!
1- How does it compare with Alice (that was previously here on AS): https://www.heyalice.app/
2- is it a desktop app for Windows/MacOs? (I think so), can you give some workflow examples? For ex. as a learner/student how this can be useful for me while I am reading/studying and taking notes from textbooks and research papers on my computer?
3- will it be included (once it'll be out of beta version) in all tiers or only the maximum one? + it needs credits to work? (with custom or BYOK) or it relies on GPU/local machine learning models?

1. Alice is more of a general AI personal assistant. It doesn't know who you are, your relationships, tasks, goals, or memory. Persona Copilot learns about you as you use your computer, it keeps track of who you are, who you know, what you know, and then uses that information to help you. This can be proactive (it gives suggestions on its own), or reactively (you can say "hey Persona" and ask anything you'd like to start a conversation with it). So, the main difference is Persona Copilot knows who you are specifically. Think of it like your second brain.
2. The desktop app will be for MacOS and Windows. Sure thing, perhaps you're writing a thesis about Napoleon Bonaparte's family. You write that he was supported by his nephew. "Hey Persona, can you double check this - is there any evidence that Napoleon faced resistance from his nephew, Napoleon III?" Your Persona will think for a bit, and then reply. Maybe later you write a run-on sentence. Persona will proactively chime in and say "Hey, here's a better way you can phrase that."
3. It will be included in all tiers and not require credits to run, however we will impose some limits to prevent abuse. More on this to come. It relies on machine learning models on our servers, however the core data about who you are and what you're up to is stored locally on your machine.
