Almost there, but not 100%

I really liked the concept of BigBu. It's really an easy way to shoot, edit (incl. logo, captions, music, cropping, trimming) and launch videos. It really is a huge timesaver and game-changer if your phone is your main video shooting device - and in my case it is.

What I love about it:
- Very easy to use and set up
- Smooth operation between the desktop app and the phone app
- Intuitive interface without complicated stuff
- Works relatively fast
- Has essential editing features embedded in 1 go

Why I believe it's still not fully there:
- The switch between landscape/portrait shooting is not smooth. When I turn my phone in my tripod to landscape, the script stays in portrait mode. I need to switch around several times before it gets into the right orientation for me to shoot.
- The music feature is unusable, because the music is superloud, no matter where I put the slider. The slider itself is also not well designed in terms of UX: the % below the bar show the opposite as the coloring of the slider bar. But again, no matter if I put 5%/95% or 95%/5%, the music is louder than my voice so I cannot use any of the music
- The music library only has 10 music tunes so there's really a limited choice
- The captions feature gets on my nerves because it doesn't copy across the script 1:1. It leaves out words randomly in the script for whatever reason. So I have to go back and check line by line if it didn't leave out anything and then manually add them back. This takes a lot of time! I checked the original script and it has all the words in it, but the program just leaves out words. The sentences without these words don't even make sense.
- No way to easily edit the split of your captions (at least as far as I could see). The program cuts up the sentences randomly and it would be good if we could easily edit where the sentences get cut for readability and understandability.
- Only 3 styles of captions (but this is not a major issue, the 3 styles are OK and usable for most people, just bear in mind there's no way to change the font type)
- The video trimming feature didn't work for me - it kept loading forever and that was it.
- It seems to only allow you to trim the video using the script to cut out video portions according to the script. But I want to trim the video at the end, to cut out the piece where I walk to the phone to stop the camera from recording. This doesn't seem to be possible, so I have to export the video to another program, just to cut out the last 5 seconds of the video, which is really annoying.

I haven't tried the replacing green screen, business card, message video page and add title feature yet, so I'm not sure if they work well.

So generally I'm happy with the product and I believe it has enormous potential to change the game of mobile video making. But the glitches that I mention above really hamper the workflow and potential of the full product. Hope there will be updates soon to resolve them!
