Q: 3 Questions about AITable.ai and Bika.ai (Vika 2.0 China)
Many thanks to Kelly for offering a complimentary upgrade to AITable.ai users. Yesterday I received my 2nd Tier 4 redemption code for Bika.ai in addition to my purchase. And now I have 2 Tier-4 spaces. I'll make good use of them.
I have 3 questions here:
1. In the coming years, will you continue to maintain AITable.ai, providing necessary bug fixes or minor updates in integrations? Firstly, considering that AITable.ai is already a mature platform, many existing users have placed significant trust and reliance on it, and I believe many have accumulated a considerable amount of data on this platform. Secondly, AITable.ai and Bika.ai are two products with different positioning, and many users find that AITable.ai alone can meet their needs.
2. Is Vika 2.0 (China) equivalent to Bika.ai? Any difference?
3. How to connect Bika.ai with WeChat？

Yes, you can continue using AITable.ai if it works for your needs. While we're no longer adding major features, we’ll continue maintaining the platform and fixing bugs as needed.

2️⃣ Vika 2.0 vs. Bika.ai
Vika 2.0 is the China-market version of Bika.ai — same platform, different branding. We introduced the name Bika.ai for the global version, but functionality-wise, it's the same system.
3️⃣ WeChat
WeChat login is only supported on the China version (bikaai.cn). It's not currently available on the global version (bika.ai).

william_oyAccording to Thea from the Founder Team, Vika 2.0 is the China-market version of Bika.ai. This means that although the two systems have consistent functionality, according to the regulations of different countries, Vika 2.0 servers are located in China, while Bika.ai's servers are not in China (they are in Bika.ai's registered location).
Therefore, the licenses for Vika 2.0 and Bika.ai cannot be interchanged. As for whether the two systems can achieve data interoperability technically, you can ask Thea—I am also curious to know.
Vika 2.0 and Bika.ai are essentially the same product, just branded differently for different regions. For example: if you sign up on bikaai.cn using WeChat and bind email A, you can later log into bika.ai with the same email and access the same data and spaces. Hope this clears it up :)
In recent years, with the expansion of global trade, WeChat has become an essential tool for people involved in cross-border commerce due to WhatsApp's regional restrictions. Is it possible to include WeChat integration in Bika.ai's roadmap? Doing so would not only facilitate WeChat login but also enable workflow automation within WeChat chats across different countries. Hi @william_oy — thanks for jumping in! I’ve shared a reply above explaining that Vika 2.0 and Bika.ai are the same product. As for WeChat, integration depends on how open the platform is.
