Q: Hi I am currently using Zoho Books mostly with Gocardless and Stripe.
1. Can I move all my customers and expenses from there?
2. Can I create recurring invoices and sync with me existing Gocardless direct debit mandates?
3. Using Gocardless does the recurring invoices automatically initiate a debit request and mark it as paid when it's paid?
4. Can existing Stripe tokens be connected to recurring invoices?

1. At the moment we can't import customers and expenses from Zoho.
2. We don't sync with existing GoCardless mandates.
3. Yes, exactly as you described. Billforward uses GoCardless to collect payment and marks the invoice as Paid when this is successful.
4. Yes, we can import existing payment methods from Stripe. At the moment this is done by our support staff, but this is an interim solution and we're working on an automatic self-service import. So if I cannot use existing mandates, what would be the work-around? Is it to delete the mandates and then create them again from within your system?
How does creating a direct debit work from bill forward? Zoho syncs based on email addresses it doesn't matter how they were created if email addresses match then it can sync.

Hi, yes, I'm afraid you'll need to capture the payment details from within Billforward.
When you capture a payment method in Billforward, it is associated with an account. As long as it's marked as the default payment method, it will be used any time a payment needs to be collected from that account.
