We are excited to announce the addition of several major features to Bind AI. In the last month itself, our users collectively consumed 250 million compute points, with more than 2 million lines of code generated.

In January, we launched a native Github integration which allows you to select multiple repositories and sync the entire codebase in a few clicks, no need to manually select individual files. Tier 5 provides access to unlimited repositories and branches.

Bind AI is now powered by advanced Reasoning models - DeepSeek R1 and OpenAI O3 Mini. These models outperform Claude 3.5 Sonnet in coding abilities and speed. DeepSeek R1 is hosted on US servers for data privacy. You can read more in out blog (blog.getbind.co).

In addition, we are soon launching the ability to run NodeJS and React/NextJS projects with multiple dependencies, instead of a limited HTML preview.

When was your company founded & where is it located?

Founded - October 2023

What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?

As someone with a entrepreneurial mindset one can always learn from failiures. I've built several SaaS products over the last 10 years. My first startup, Predikt, was an AI for Hiring where we built deep learning algorithms to automatically recommend jobs. While we built an incredible product, we never did enough to put the word out, and also missed our a lot of customer feedback.

With our AppSumo launch for Bind AI, we're hoping for plenty of feedback from the community so that we can learn and build based on what's most important.

Are you funded or bootstrapped?

We are proudly bootstrapped, with help from friends, family and our customers we're building incredible AI-powered features in Bind AI.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?

The origin of Bind AI stems from our personal experiences as developers and entrepreneurs grappling with the inefficiencies of juggling multiple tools for coding and content creation. We originally started as an "AI Bot Builder" where you can create bots (e.g. customer support bot) and share. We noticed that most users were creating bots for their personal use and not for sharing. This realization sparked the idea for Bind AI—a comprehensive copilot that simplifies and accelerates workflows by bringing together advanced AI models and your data from multiple applications.

Our passion for Bind AI comes from our commitment to empowering others in the tech and creative communities. We believe that everyone should have accessible tools that enhance their productivity and creativity without the usual hassles of managing various applications.

What problem is your product solving and how?

Bind AI addresses the critical problem of fragmented workflows in coding and technical content creation. By consolidating all necessary tools into a single interface, we eliminate the challenges associated with juggling multiple platforms. Users can generate code, design landing pages, and develop documentation without the hassle of switching applications—streamlining their processes to achieve more in less time.

Unlike other AI products that focus narrowly on chat or basic code suggestions, Bind AI provides users with the ability to work across 15+ advanced AI models seamlessly. What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?

We plan to build a lot more awesome AI-powered features to dramatically make it easy to create websites, applications, emails, documentation.

Any details to clarify about the deal?

Bind AI plans operate on compute token limits. Each compute token is roughly one small word (~4 characters). Depending on the type of use case, the tokens consumed vary. As an example, if you have a code generation use case, it might use 1000+ tokens as input query, where as if you're asking a general question the input query may have just 70-80 tokens. Each Tier has a specified token limit. For more complex or content intensive usecases, higher tiers are ideal.

Each token consists of four characters.

Advanced models are text generation models with MMLU and HumanEval scores above 80. Definitions for Basic and Advanced models may change.

File and image uploads must not exceed 20 MB each.

Current integrations: GitHub and Google Drive.
Future integrations: Available on Tiers 2 and 3.

Tokens ingested apply to file and image uploads, as well as files synced from integrations.
