Q: How is this comparable to Greta previously on Appsumo.

Can you please let us know about the similarities and differences between Greta and Bind.

Greta is better for one shot mockups and overall aesthetics, but bind is better for actually building things that work and can do more than just basic react apps(which is all Greta can do).

Both are unusable for production apps atm for different reasons, but if I had to choose one to build something I plan to actually use, I would choose Bind as of now.

I have used both extensively.

what you mean about production apps atm ?

Production = being used and not just for show
or something you would be able to sell for example.
Neither are at the point of being able to create a proper Saas atm(atleast not easily).

this is helpful for us to know.

Greta wins in UI as well, by a mile.
I feel like Questera as a whole has a better overall plan but for pure coding ability and overall value, bind takes the cake right now.

Bind also includes all the AI chatbots out there so it not only replaces Lovable but also can serve as your ChatGPT Plus sub, Gemini Plus sub, and Claude plan(outside of claudecode).
Greta has none of that stuff.

Bind on the otherhand feels like multiple software slapped together in a panic to make a transition to something better(which worked because it is MUCH better now).

It needs a lot of TLC in a lot of categories and it feels "vibe coded" tbh and pieced together as they went along.

Its missing a LOT of QOL things Greta has but I keep finding myself going back to bind to play around.

haha, thanks for the honesty. Yes, we did throw some features on the wall until we saw some of them stick. we started purely as a chat based code generator, and evolved into an IDE based on community feedback. We will have templates to easily clone or libraries to build better UI, backend, user login, along with revision history. We expect bind AI to be a pretty solid for prod apps by end of Oct.

Yeah its been an interesting ride so far.
Its not a bad thing, I personally think you made the right move, but you will get "dinged" for UI and UX in the meantime when compared to competitors because the transition isn't complete and you can tell.
Its something I expect a Greta user to notice right away.
