I was waiting for the bind team to release the next updates but...

Ok I want to be clear when I say its early for bind when it comes to being a Lovable-like software and you can tell, so don't expect perfection right away.

So atm, it is a versatile coding software that probably can't FULLY replace subscriptions from the competitors if your not already semi comfortable with the process of setting up web applications.
It simply lacks a LOT of the QOL features of lovable, bolt, esc.
Most of which are on the horizon.

Features like:
~Github 2 way(push and pull with branch control) - being worked on now
~Automated hosting on your OWN Vercel account so you don't have to download the code you can just submit to Github or just straight up push your updates live to your server. - also being worked on now
~Backend integrations, atm backend creation is a bit of a pain and is not integrated like the competitors. This is one of the more intimidating aspects of webapps so having atleast Firebase and/or Supabase integrated with an MCP that allows the AI to do it all for the user is a HUGE benefit.
*Might I suggest a collab with NoCodeBackend(another appsumo software available right now) that may not only solve the problem but also would be an Appsumo crowd pleaser.*

That being said, you really can't build anything super cool or SAAS related without a backend and while you can easily do this now if you are willing to let the AI guide you, its not as easy as it could be, and the vast majority of users will never put in the effort to learn this themselves.

What Bind does do that others don't is allow you to select the coding models which I think at first causes quality issues until you learn what models do well with what tasks. This imo is an advanced feature that should be avoided by most people at first.
The coding languages you can use is far more vast than other options on the market. The main thing holding them back here is you can't preview anything but JS(React apps mostly) atm so while you CAN code in the languages you need most of the time, you will have to run tests separate from bind and I think this is hurting them in the short term due to customer's lack of know how.

Now I actually grade apps on how often I come back to play with the software(assuming I don't need the app for business), and I keep finding myself logging back into bind to play around. Its just fun atm to see what the AI comes up with. For reference I have ALOT of this type of software so bind is by no means a NEED for me, by a long shot. I just like it.

**BONUS:** Something I think a lot of new users are undervaluing is that Bind just made the transition to an Online IDE earlier this year. Previously they were an AI chatbot app that was a replacement for ChatGPT with other models as well. THIS STILL EXISTS and is included!
So what people aren't appreciating about this is Bind created an app, sold LTDs and made a COMPLETE change in their focus when they seen the writing on the wall, but instead of splitting the software and creating a new bind and abandoning the previous investors, they just built on top of the previous webapp and not only honored the original users, they included the old webapp with the new version, just adding more value for both older LTDs and new LTDs.
This kind of thought process should be applauded and supported, when times got hard they didn't abandon it and run away, they asked their community for direction and went full force into the new ideas.

So yes its raw, yes you will be missing some QOL features some competitors offer(for now), and yes its still a risk(as all LTDs are). But you have a team that didn't just shutdown and run away, they didn't rebrand as most would have, and they listened to their users and built bind into a true competitor in one of the most popular niches of the year.

So lets break down some of the numbers.
If you were to cancel subscriptions to use bind instead.
You could cancel ChatGPT and save $20/month
You could cancel your Gemini sub for $20/month
and you could cancel your Lovable/Bolt sub for $20-200/month depending on what plan you choose.

Bind Wishlist in order of importance:
~Github full integration is paramount! This unlocks not only safety but also versatility
~Personal Vercel(or other) account integration, this unlocks control AND customizations like domains
~Backend integrations, this unlocks SAAS apps for non coders and non techies.
~User Dashboard for limits tracking and aesthetics
~Automated Restore points
~More code preview support, you should honestly be able to preview all supported frontend code from the platform.
~Flutter support for mobile dev(NEEDS preview ability as well), I would not release it without that.
~User submitted App market(already being built)
~Overall UI improvements, its not as polished as it could be
~MCP support, bonus if its custom MCP support where you can add your own
~More code support in general since this is your bread and butter, no competitors are focused on code versatility

Ran out of words but BUY BIND!
