I previously bought Berrycast for Screenvideos. Still, I wanted to try out Bird and I have to admit it is amazing! :) I will probably stay with both because bird works better for me in the browser, while Berrycast works great as the desktop application. Congratulations to the team to such a nice software! I hope it will spread - I think it makes life much easier and the suppot I sent the videos to was pretty amazed!
My team and I have used this for a few months so I can say this is a pretty honest and realistic review (in my humble opinion based on what we needed);
- Showing code bugs is epic, and the upload videos bugs to our Trello is a fantastic feature - LTD is cost-effective - We started out on Tier 1 and then I just recently upgraded to Tier 2), the 6 mos retention seemed appealing in the long run vs the 3 mos on Tier 1 plan - Chrome extension is nice, convenient - Can't wait for SDK to come out so we can use cross-browsers like Firefox and Safari testing - Highly intuitive and easy to use, I think it took 5 min and everything clicked in the UI - Responsive team, supportive

Hi there,
Thanks a lot for the review. I hope we can make the product even better in the coming months and we are ourselves really excited about the SDK.
Went with Tier 3 finally, not for 100 full members but more as a show of support for a useful web app and her neat design. I asked about multiple workspaces in the Questions tab a while back (so did a few others), and was quite disappointed to hear from Dan that our Appsumo plans will only apply to 1 single workspace. I still give Bird Eats Bug 5 tacos, because for $149, I am buying into a very promising business venture, which not only shows good progress over the last 18 months but also already secured a €1.5M seed funding round.
My "wishful thinking" is, Dan and his team will be implementing multiple PROJECTS at least for Tier 2 or 3 Appsumo plans, so we could make better use of Bird. The truth is, if I have 100 full members, they will very likely be working on different projects. So even with multiple workspaces out of the picture, I hope we will still be able to assign our users (AND Bug Reporters) to totally separate projects. For example, Users 1 and 2 to Project A, while Users 2 and 3 to Project B, so User 1 could not access anything in Project B, and Users 3 not Project A. And if bug reporters could be assigned to projects when invited (so their bug reports will show up in respective folders/projects), that will be perfect. Again, thanks for listening.

Hi there,
Thanks a ton for your review. Yeah, the multiple project thing was a revelation for us, because nobody asked for it prior to AppSumo :)
Nonetheless, I hope Bird already delivers value, especially with more features on the roadmap.
Bird Eats Bug was on my radar for awhile...I have looked at the product page countless times wondering if it would be worth it, should I get it, etc.
Today I finally decided to pull the trigger.
In just a few tests, I can see the power and benefit of this tool! What really "sold me" was the promise of the SDK that would allow us to put a "report bug" tool on our app and would allow users to send a bug report without creating an account. Since I am about to start up a Saas, I thought this would be invaluable!
I started with a Tier 3, but sadly realized that workspaces aren't included (at least not as of yet). Since I wanted my SaaS to have its own space for that team, but still saw this as a value for my own work, I downgraded my main account to Tier 1 and I bought a separate Tier 3 for my SaaS (I really don't need 100 users, but wanted to show the extra support).
I had some issues getting my second account to login, Omair from BEB did a video call with me the same day to ensure it was all working (of course it logged in fine when I was on the call!).
I really look forward to buying this tool! My only wish is that at least in the Tier 2 or Tier 3 larger plans, it would allow for workspaces. If this was something that would be for sure in the Roadmap, I would actually consider upgrading my Tier 1 account back up to Tier 3 so I could have that for future projects!
This is definitely a product you don't want to miss! The details it collects and gives for bug reporting can definitely save a lot of time and frustration for developers to gather, work through, and emulate...I look forward to seeing how this progresses!!!

Hi there,
We're super happy to hear that you liked Bird and especially the support.
We might add an ability to create multiple workspaces with the same email address, but most likely the AppSumo plan would still apply only to 1 workspace. Hope that's not too much of a disappointment.
Thanks again for taking the time to review Bird - that definitely encourages us to keep improving the tool, Dan
