I bought the plugin in May 2022 to use it on unlimited websites. After using it many times it is now time for a review.

This is a very good plugin that provides WordPress with functionalities similar to Zapier, albeit in a light version because it only supports one action per trigger, meaning that it cannot create chains of actions like Zapier. Nevertheless it will save you a lot of development costs for many tasks.

However, there is one major drawback that prevents me from using this plugin on 'full autopilot' when automation is critical, such as lead generation for clients. Occasionally, an automation may fail, and I would expect to be able to configure email alerts for these rare incidents so that I can handle them in whatever way necessary.

Unfortunately, there are no error notifications, only logs for each automation. This means that I or my client has to regularly check the logs of each automation to look for faulty runs. Although the plugin is very powerful and versatile, it forces me to do unnecessary manual work that could be easily fixed by the developers. Unfortunately, the developers have stated to me in a support chat message that they do not plan to implement this feature.

Additionally, the plugin does not allow you to freely define your JSON payload. Bit Integrations only allows for single-level key-value pairing, which may not be sufficient because some APIs require nested JSON data that you can't produce with this plugin. This limitation reduces the plugin's possibilities; otherwise, it could be used with nearly every service that offers an API and incoming webhooks. The developer told me long ago that they planned to add that feature, but as of today, it still hasn't been implemented.

However, it's worth noting that many other features have been added since then.

If these two issues were resolved, I would give it a clear 5/5 rating. Unfortunately, they significantly limit my ability to fully utilize the plugin in the way that I want to.
