Bixpand is fantastic and has all the features my clients would like ... BUT ... the importing of data from .cvs or Excel files is extremely limited and highly restrictive, moreso if you're outside of the USA.

For example, you can't leave the 'first name' field blank, so if you only have a Mr. Smith as a contact that has to be imported as a 'first name'. The import function also doesn't handle UK phone numbers or postcodes, the latter are a combination of letters, numbers and spaces, ie. SP7 8AA rather 90210, so none of the data is uploaded.

If you have a large amount of data to import, especially on a regular basis, you will need to do a lot of editing in Excel first.

I've found their chat support extremely helpful and responsive and these issues have been fed back to their technical team. I'll keep my fingers x'd they'll have a fix within the next 59 days !
