Could be 5 tacos, but....
We wanted this to work as our go to platform for email marketing. We have invested in the Tier 4 as it seemed as a decent and promising tool for sending out email campaigns but:
- The 24/7 Live Support chat does not exist - and it is clearly stated in the product page
- The Support is really slow, and what is worse is their tone of communication like "If you don't like it you can use MailChimp"
- There is a limit of 1000 contacts per day for importing subscribers, and we have a client list of 8000+ subscribers so we have to tell them something like "We will send the campaign in 8 days" - There is no mention of this in the offer
- From name field does not accept UTF-8 characters which is really unacceptable, and what is worse is the Support's answer "This is an english dominant platform." LOL
- Emojis in the email content are stripped
- HTML editor is a partial HTML editor which strips some of the code, it would be nice if we could completely define the HTML for the email, and WYSIWYG editor seems a bit outdated, it offers Flash :D
- You cannot translate the unsubscribe text in the email footer, etc.
- Analytics is pretty basic, you cannot see which subscribers opened, clicked or unsubscribed (or we do not know how)
- You cannot make the segment based on the subscribers that did not open the specific campaign
- UI is not so good, but that is the least of our concerns
What do we like?
- The speed of the app is ok, it rarely has delays on loading
- Upload of the contacts is fast and the "verification" is also ok
To conclude - it is a promising tool, but at the moment it lacks quicker support, no limit import of contacts, support for the UTF-8, and better analytics.
REPLY:
1. There is no chat support, 24/7 or not
2. Concerning the support ticket response time, I can provide the evidence it takes a long time to respond, if anyone is interested
3. Sending limit is one thing, not being able to upload the contacts is another thing, as I have informed the AppSumo as well the same list uploaded to MailChimp (which is a bit more reputable than Blastable) was accepted completely and Blastable is rejecting it in full. Of course, emails were first verified with Reoon email verifier twice
4. These characters are supported by widely recognised UTF-8 character encoding standard so I do not see any problems with using it on Blastable also
5. Your editor is outdated, please there are options to embed Flash which is unsupported from 2017
6. Ok, fair enough
Hard lesson learned from our side, we have actually lost a client due to being unable to use the platform as advertised to deliver the service, so no other reasoning is needed after this negative business outcome.
What is the worst experience in trying to get the support from Blastable is the dismissive tone of its owner Justin, everything comes to "If you don't like it go to MailChimp", while keeping the Tier 5 money we paid. You should learn how to communicate with clients, and this is certainly not the way to do it.
Good luck with your business.

Oct 2, 2025Let me address this review as there seems to be something a little funky and misleading going on:
1. We have live chat support. Not 24/7 live chat support. Live chat support does not equal 24/7 live chat support. Sorry if that confused you.
2. Your last customer support ticket was responded to in 1 hour and 40 mins, that doesn’t seem that slow to me, but of course you’re entitled to your own opinion. After searching all your tickets, there has been no, “if you don’t like it you can use mailchimp” comments or anything even close to that from us.
3. Yes, we have an import limit on new accounts. When you move to a new ESP, you can’t go from to 0 to 100% instantly and need to warm it up over short period of time. It's for the protection of your sender reputation and our IPs.
4. Although we have future plans to support other languages, we are currently an English based platform and don’t support all characters from other languages like Serbian, so I personally find our support kindly letting you know that to be perfectly acceptable. In fact, I will encourage them to say that next time someone asks.
FYI, this is also why you can’t translate the unsubscribe footer. We are currently an English based platform, so we support English.
5. We use a standard html editor. If you want to use your own html code, you can simply paste it into the source code box and choose to remove all of our CSS formatting.
6. More advanced analytics are on our roadmap for the future. So are more advanced Segmentation features.
7. I happen to think our UI is very easy to use, simple and straightforward, but I’m happy to hear that you’re not that concerned about it.
