Great Delivery, Automations, Simple UI - Needs work on Email Forms, Integrations, Email Templates
I will give them the benefit of the doubt because of the generous email limits on this deal and the deliverability, even though it needs to include email form creation. We need to be able to edit the forms inline instead of editing the text on the side panel. We also need to be able to auto-align elements and space them out by entering numbers such as padding, etc. Some email form templates have alignment issues right out of the box.
What it excels at so far from testing is Deliverability to my Gmail, which ends up in my inbox. It didn't go to the promotion tab or spam, which is the most critical aspect of email software (Deliverability). I did send it from one of my domains that has been used before, so it is recognized. I would appreciate it if anyone could do a test from a new domain.
One of Blastable's key strengths is its user interface, which is notably simpler and less complex than other email software like Tarvent (currently on AppSumo). This focus on simplicity is a significant advantage in the email software market.
The Email Design Template module is all right but could be better.
I loaded a test email list I built in Aweber, but it was rejected because I needed to answer their questions in time. Now I know you have about 24 hours to respond, showing that it is a warm list, which it is. I have sent Aweber emails to them with good delivery. It took their team 24 hours to review my imported list, and I had 24 hours to respond.
I will do a more extensive email delivery test by building a list within Blastable single opt-in to update my review. I will also test the automation and autoresponders. I have designed some and like the layout, but I need to test them on a list I build within Blastable. If the tests go well on a larger scale, I am considering getting more Tier 6 licenses as long as I can combine them into one account.
One area where Blastable could improve is in its integrations. The lack of integration with ConvertBox is a significant drawback, as it forces users to resort to webhooks with Albato. A direct integration would preserve the auto-tagging ability within ConvertBox, enhancing the user experience.
Please consider removing the Blastable branding, at least at Tier 6. By keeping it on all Tiers, you are definitely missing out on Sumoling sales. I understand including it on Tiers 1-5.

Oct 15, 2024Hey Jake, thanks for the detailed review, mate.
Email Deliverability is what we specialize in, so happy to hear your first test email ended up in your inbox in Gmail :)
The templates and form builder are on our roadmap to improve in the near future and we will always be getting getter and improving everything to be the best that we can be...
Instead of trying to do everything all at once and being a jack of all trades, we wanted to focus on one core element of emailing and that is getting emails to the inbox because at the end of the day if your emails don’t get delivered, it doesn’t matter how pretty they look. That’s why we’ve focused on a simple to user interface, but use powerful technology behind the scenes to help make this happen.
We do check an approve all imported lists which usually happens automatically within a few mins unless we detect an anomaly on the uploaded list, such as a percentage of invalid emails above our threshold.
As far as ConvertBox, they would actually have to integrate us, not the other way around unfortunately...
