A: Hello Appsumolover, the geolocation testing feature is not available at the moment. However, we have this feature in our backlog. There is no ETA for this feature at the moment.
I usually work on both of my Macs ( it depends whether I'm working from the office or not ). In case I had a problem with one of my devices and I needed to buy another one, would I be able to "reset" my devices number so I can install Blisk on the new Mac buying the Tier 1 ? Thanks in advance
Q: Hi,
I'm testing Blisk as we speak and have a couple of questions:
- Is it or will it be possible to stack views on top of each other?
So rows AND columns? That way screen real estate can be used in a more optimal way. - When I have finally created a nice layout of devices, opening and closing the dev tools will reset the splitter, why? - I'd like to save my splitter positions, but the View > Splitter > Save Splitter Position is greyed out? - Opening dev tools at the bottom instead of to the right is way more convenient when you present all the devices in columns I would say? Looks like this is on the roadmap.
A: Hello, we have received enough requests to start implementing the multi-row layout of devices. We're evaluating the best way to implement such a feature. Please reply to this questionnaire:
1. How many monitors do you have? 2. What is the diagonal (size) of your monitor(s)? 3. How many rows do you expect to have? 4. Do you expect rows to be the same height? 5. How do you expect to sort the devices? For example, you have 2 rows with 3 devices in each row. How do you expect to move the first device in row 1 to the last device in row 2? 6. How do you expect to use DevTools? Where should we open them? Where should they be docked? 7. How many devices do you plan to use in a multi-row layout? 8. What are the benefits of using a multi-row layout compared to a single-row layout for you? 9. What type of device scaling do you usually use in Blisk (fit to view/ smart scaled/real size)? Device scaling is available in Menu > View > Device scaling. 10. Could you send a schematic sketch with a multi-row layout to support@blisk.io? Any kind of drawing is highly appreciated! 11. How many devices do you expect to have in each row? 12. From your point of view, how should the application consider starting a new row? Should this be a setting/done programmatically/other (your message)?
If you don't feel comfortable answering some concrete questions - please feel free to skip it.
Hello Sjoerd. Thank you for the feedback! The feature of stacking devices into multiple rows is not available at the moment.
Opening and closing DevTools resets the splitter position - this is the default behavior. Could you please provide any feedback on how we can improve this? What is your expected result?
Save Splitter Position is available when you use 1 Mobile device along with the Chrome-like desktop view. This feature is intended for such use cases. Would you like us to improve this feature? How can we improve?
Docking DevTools to the bottom is already on our roadmap for this year!
Hey there rg162! If you don't mind me asking, what's your use case here? I'm trying to help The Sumo-ling Community understand how owning multiple devices may be beneficial here.
I have two computers and would like to use it on both of those as well.
Use case: sometimes I develop sites on a MacBook (e.g., it's an easy site, I'm travelling, I want to work on the couch), and sometimes I develop them on an iMac. I'm the only user of both these machines.
It would be nice to be able to use Blisk on both and not have to go get the MacBook to test a site while developing it on iMac.
A: Hello GammonChop. Our product is focused on cross-device testing, as shown on our landing page. The cross-browser testing feature does not appear in our roadmap for this year. Thank you for your question!
If you don't mind me asking, what's your use case here? I'm trying to help The Sumo-ling Community understand how an adding users later may be beneficial. Thanks in advance!
I have 2 codes. 2hile I don't expect to need more than 2 users on my plan, I wanted to know if there was an option in place for LTD users.
Q: Hi Andrii,
I have a few questions regarding Blisk dev browser:
1.
We develop our web-apps in React/NextJS and Angular so would like to know if Blisk has in-built React Developer Tools / Redux DevTools or Angular DevTools? 2. Do you allow remote collaboration, i.e. real-time streaming of the web-app across the Internet? 3. Can we do automated device testing/viewing by schedule and email us the screenshot of the web-app (before/after login) every week? 4. Any plans to include more Samsung mobile devices/tablet? By when is your next version release? 5. Can Blisk browser help with: 5A) detecting broken links in a website? 5B) Show the link's Social Media previews on different devices? Thank you!
A: Hello Sumo.Ling! 1. Blisk does not have built-in React/Redux/Angular DevTools built-in. However, this feature demand has increased and we may add this feature later. 2. Remote collaboration is not supported at the moment. Could you please provide describe your use case at support@blisk.io in detail? This is may a nice idea! 3. We're investigating the possibilities to implement Automations at the moment. 4. Latest Samsung mobiles are already implemented and will arrive with the next release this month. 5. This feature demand is increasing, so we're investigating the possibilities to implement those features. Did I address your questions? Please, let me know if there's anything missing!
A: Hello Jcnrcoptyltd. Yes, you can use Blisk in closed and open beta testing. As a team administrator, you will be able to grant and revoke licenses to any user anytime. In terms of providing feedback, your testers will be able to take screenshots and record videos. Tier 3 will work best for you because it has 5 seats for your QA team included at the best price!
A: Hello TerraUtopia. The latest Samsung devices will soon appear in Blisk (in the next release). Regarding Blisk vs Polypane vs Responsively, we consider each has its own strong and weak points in both functionality and user experience. It is a personal decision which one to choose.
Q: Hey guys, please come back!
Will you? 🙏

Q: Hi, I am a freelancer and I have 2 laptops (Win 10 + Win 11) I use simultaneously for my projects.
If I purchase 1 code, is it possible for me to use Blisk on these 2 laptops altogether at the same time or must I use Blisk interchangeably?
Thanks.
Andrii_Blisk
May 15, 2024A: Hello Gedanggoreng. The best way is to use Blisk interchangeably in order to avoid any issues with your license 😉

Q: Hi there, Thanks for releasing the template for Android devices.
I have some wordpress site which has Lottie animations but Blisk just could not display the animated Lottie icons.
Do you have any plans to look into this? The Lottie animation displayed correctly in Chrome/FF.
Thanks.

Q: Why does this app appear to be so Apple-centric?
When I go to the Blisk website 99% of supported devices are Apple products.
SumSung products are left behind - will they ever be supported?
Also, I have both PolyPane & Responsivly already - can the developers tell me why this product is better and I should switch?
