What A Find! But, Why Is It NOT In The Homepage??
This is by far one of the best deals I've bought, in terms of how mature the platform is already.
I loved Blogely, even though I have 2 stacks of Frase. These 2 tools are kind of complement to each other and for anyone with desire to create “Great Original Content On Regular Basis”, should have both of these!
I have had a great demo session with the founder, Glenn, and he sounded so passionate about his product that you immediately feel the amount of hard work that went behind.
++ PROS ++
— Blogely solves all the challenges of every step of a content creation process (What to write, where to write, how to format it, how to exchange feedback with the hired writer, how to hire a writer, how to send the writer brief, organize & manage files/images needed, how to optimize the article for SEO, how to check for plagiarism, how to showcase my articles to client without spending hours to set up personal blogs etc. and finally, how to sell my articles to clients without taking any hassle)
— With Blogely, you don't need to manage your posts via WordPress at all! Blogely can handle the full publishing process and even you can update the live article later, directly from Blogely!
— The whole UI of the app is very smooth and very well-thought. In fact, the more you use it, the more you will appreciate the level of details it has already taken care of.
— They are not selling a roadmap! It's a very important point for me. The tool is already in mature state and from what I saw in the demo session, it is going to become even greater.
— The founder is a solid guy, very caring and open to listen to feedbacks. Support has been very good so far and smooth.
++ CONS ++
— There were some minor UI issues (some icons didn't have any tooltip to explain what it does). I reported it to support, and they've confirmed they'll get it improved.
— I don't mind about 300 article limit, because basically that's not a limit at all. All it means: you can keep 300 articles at one single time and you can remove older articles to free up spaces. But I would be happier if I could get more than 20 Research Docs per month, though 20 is not that bad. But you can buy more than one code and use 2 separate accounts to fulfill your need.
— I also would love to have more than 8 publish per month as I have plan to manage more than 3 blogs in the future. But again, I can skip the publish feature by exporting the final article in text/PDF form and manually publish it anywhere. These are definitely nowhere near to be deal-breaker, but maybe nice to have, if possible.
Overall, it's a way too polished and mature app to be on AS Marketplace and not getting enough exposure. I would request AppSumo to take it to the mainstream area and give it a chance to excel there.
