Q: A growing number of US websites have blocked your website How are you planning to address the issue?

🤔

Here’s a quick list:

None of those can be displayed in the Dual Window Preview
example of an error message returned in the dual window preview: "deepmind.google refused to connect."

The test is easy, you just have to copy/paste the previous links into your board and you’ll see. those aren't behind a paywall or you don't need to be log in. (They all work on Miro, Figjam, Clickup, Notion ...)

Obviously, Boardmix is blacklisted, more precisely because your servers are hosted in China those websites refuse to connect.

My question is simple, when are you planning to move your servers to either Europe or the USA … by the way I would prefer my data not to be hosted in China (Privacy issues and laws). I love the products but at some point, I need to draw a line.

A: The platforms you've referenced currently lack integration. However, rest assured, that implementation plans for each will be progressively scheduled for a future date.
As outlined in the founder's message, all data storage takes place in Frankfurt, Germany.

what do you mean by lack of integration? they use to work before the USA started engaging in the practice of blocking Chinese websites(I disapprove of that behavior by the way). Also, a quick reverse DNS lookup shows that not all your servers are in Frankfurt, Germany. They are still showing IP from Alibaba, with the main one being in Singapore.

+1 here - I would love to see the data stored in Europe/Germany

I also took the liberty to embed my own website in Boardmix and sure enough when I checked where the traffic was coming from it didn't show Frankfurt, Germany, but an IP from China... can you explain? maybe your backend is Frankfurt but the service hitting the website is from China which explains why it doesn't display the links.

once again I need to stress the fact that all of those links used to work properly without any hassle. what changed? 🤔

i would like to get that response too!
