I see that this comment was the only one not answered, so I guess I got my answer. I assume there is no encryption and no expectation of any privacy.
The question was regarding that policy. Since you didn't directly answer either of the 2 items, it says to me data is not encrypted and you're required to provide customer data to the Chinese government.
