Boardmix is an innovative online whiteboard that makes visual planning and team collaboration seamless. With powerful built-in AI, teams can visually brainstorm ideas, create diagrams, and more in seconds. I hope Boardmix can follow in the footsteps of a tool like Whimsical and become a leader in intuitive visual collaboration.

Some feedback:
- Language issues: There are a few some language issues with some Chinese text appearing on the login page and noticed in a couple of other places within the app, and the page for their Chrome Extension is also in Chinese. The core product shows immense potential, but is slightly concerning as this is going to turn a lot of people off, and definitely slow down growth if they don’t improve this area.
- AI quality and limitations: I’m glad that they have already incorporated their AI features from the start, I don’t mind that the credits don’t renew as long as sumolings are able to purchase new credits at the same price after the deal is over. However, there are some issues they need to address. The first and most important one is the quality of output. I made a few very specific requests, and got generic, irrelevant outputs. There is also the issue of character limit, sometimes there is a need to include lots of context with AI, I provide fairly large prompts with detailed guidelines for structure and design with Whimsical’s AI feature, and this has proven to improve the accuracy and quality of output.
- The Mac app is a bit resource heavy, hopefully they are able to optimize it for M2

Feature requests:
1. By default, I am taken to the free personal workspace when logging in to Boardmix. Sometimes I forget to double check which workspace I’m in and start creating something there, only to later realize I don’t have all of the features I do in my premium workspace. This is really annoying, there really should be options for users to set their own default workspace, delete the personal workspace if they choose, or eliminate the need for having the free personal workspace all together.
2. An app for iOS similar to Miro for users to have a quality mobile experience with Boardmix would be next level.
3. It would be cool to have a feature where we could create a mind map, navigation tree diagram, flowchart or other charts/digrams/data visualizations by uploading a CSV.

I’m providing all of this feedback not because I’m unhappy with my purchase and investment in the tool, but because it has soooo much potential and is off to a great start.
