So promising, but silly bug ruined it
There's so much to like about Boardmix, and I was so excited to purchase it and when initially playing around with it. I'm a facilitator and therefore used to use tools such as Figjam, Mural, Miro for my virtual gatherings. Boardmix had the potential to replace all of those tools.
Unfortunately, a few months ago it introduced a weird bug that I haven't seen in any other browser based programme. You now cannot use the backspace, delete or arrow keys if trying to use Boardmix from a Chromebook. Since the whole point of a collaborative, browser-based board for me is to have a simple, hassle-free space for attendees to work together, it's impossible for me to use it knowing that any attendee on a Chromebook will not be able to properly participate. Customer support isn't interested in fixing it, claiming that 'shortcut keys of Chromebooks are not compatible".
It gets 2 tacos because I'm sure it's a great tool if you're only using it internally and you know which device your whole team use, but more hassle than it's worth to use for a public session where people join from their own computers.
