What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?

I’m a professional software consultant who has worked with Fortune 500 brands like Nissan, Lockheed Martin, and Wells Fargo, helping them implement workflow automation software. In 2018, I launched a side hustle selling biodegradable plates on Amazon, and since then, I’ve successfully started six e-commerce brands—each teaching me invaluable lessons about running an online business. I also authored the book "How to Start and Grow an E-Commerce Business", which sold thousands of copies on Amazon. Through the successes and setbacks of these ventures, I recognized the need for Boardroom: a centralized platform to monitor and manage an online brand’s performance.

What 3rd party tools is your product critically dependent on?

Our platform is dependent on several key third-party tools. Our e-commerce integrations with Shopify and Amazon are essential for providing seamless data tracking and reporting. We also rely on OpenAI’s latest GPT model to power many of our AI-driven features. Additionally, our SEO data providers are integral to delivering valuable insights to our users. For brands using GA4, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads, our tool integrates with these platforms to provide even greater value by centralizing data and offering deeper analytics.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?

Since 2018, I’ve launched and managed six e-commerce brands on Shopify and Amazon. As I ran these businesses, I became increasingly frustrated with the need to log into 10+ apps and platforms just to manage operations and track key performance indicators. This led me to create Boardroom: a centralized dashboard designed to simplify the process of monitoring and managing an e-commerce brand.

What problem is your product solving and how?

Boardroom addresses the problem of fragmented data and inefficient processes for e-commerce brands. Many merchants struggle to track key business metrics across multiple platforms, leading to poor decision-making. Additionally, many brands face challenges in understanding and effectively implementing SEO, resulting in missed opportunities to attract organic traffic. Boardroom offers a unique combination of features that centralizes and simplifies reporting, analytics, SEO, and content creation, enabling online brands to optimize their operations and drive better results.

What’s the #1 thing you’re looking to gain from the AppSumo campaign?

Our #1 goal for this AppSumo campaign is to increase brand awareness in the e-commerce marketplace. Boardroom has received great feedback from users, and we’re excited to leverage this campaign to take our platform to the next level.

What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?

We hope that the increased traction that comes from this campaign will drive sustained growth for Boardroom. This will allow us to invest more in new features, integrations, and tools that will help our users continue to thrive in their e-commerce ventures.

Any details to clarify about the deal?

Currently, the app is available only in English, but our AI tools can generate content (e.g., blog posts) in any language.

All Boardroom plans include full access to all features without limitations. However, Tier 1 and Tier 2 plans have restrictions based on the total number of orders your store receives each month. If you exceed the order threshold for your tier in a given month, you'll be prompted to upgrade, or you'll need to wait until the next month to regain full access to all features. Tier 3 offers unlimited orders.
