Q: This is really interesting but I am having a really hard time wrapping my head around it properly.

Can you tell me if I have this example right:
I put this on my site as a chat or help widget and someone can start a conversation with me, using WhatsApp or Skype, whatever they prefer, and I can then reply to them on Boei but they will see my reply in whatever app they started with...Skype chat, WhatsApp, etc and then we can go back and forth... even if I don't use those particular apps?

What do they see the reply name (my name) as?

Also, how would a newsletter example signup work?

A: Hi Mtyrano,

Each button is "glued" to one WhatsApp number indeed. I believe you can register a WhatsApp for Business number and have multiple operators answering, but I have no experience with this.

Hey Nicolai,
Almost :) Boei will connect you and your visitors on the channels that you both like.
For example, people can start a conversation with you on WhatsApp and you will get a message on WhatsApp. Boei is the glue to bring it all together.
You could use a link for some of them, but now it is in an easy to use overview. Does that make sense?

For newsletter signup: This will give an extra option in Boei to directly sign up for your newsletter. Submissions can be emailed to you, can be sent to a Slack channel, or can trigger a webhook (so you can integrate with any tool you like). You can see an example on the Boei website (click the Boei button).

So its WhatsApp to WhatsApp, right? (for the channel whatsapp)
That said: Can multiple people reicieve the promt from the website/customer and "take" the request?
Or is ist "glued" to one whatsapp number?
Re:plain for example promts every set operator for the channel whatsapp and one can take the conversation.

I habe replain also but they are limited in other ways (cant change the apperance of the chat bubble widget besides color...)
