Q: Hey guys, I already bought it, but haven't gotten the chance to dive in very deep.

Just wondering a few things:

-Does the "Powered By Bookafy" watermarks go away? Also the two "Copyright 2018 bookafy.com" watermarks in the email footers.

-Although I do appreciate my business name in the "From" column in the client side emails, are we able to easily connect our own email accounts so it sends from MyEmail@MyWebsite.com? (VS no-reply@bookafy.com) I imagine this is a deal breaker for a lot of sumolings.

-How do I go about editing / customizing the various emails that the clients would see? How easy & flexible is that?

-Is a PayPal integration in the works anytime soon? (That I would get excited for.. And I never get excited over anything these days!)

-Is there a way to disable the hosted booking page, but keep the custom website html integration / buttons? (Or at least make the bookafy hosted page unsearchable to google, bing, etc)

-Can this can be used as a stand alone calendar in itself? (Ex: Manually add appts yourself and login to view them, etc)

-Can I use X email to register the account, we'll call this the admin email. And then can we tell it to send appointment emails to Y email instead of the main account admin email? Or better yet, could we simply send each staff member their appt reminder emails to their own specified email? I imagine sending them all to one email will clog it up rather fast.

-Is there some sort of option where you can choose the number of meetings per day you will accept - then it maxes it out and blocks anymore from being scheduled by other users? Ex: If 100 people want to talk to me & I do 30 min meetings 9 to 5pm, sure it would be a good problem to have 15 appts booked each day, but realistically I'd go mental. Would be cool for an option to have the app automatically grey out any days after X number meetings are booked. Does that make sense?

RANDOM BUGS:

-In Chrome, the schedule your appt details page is in a popup. I do have a big monitor, but the bottom third is getting cut off and makes you scroll down to get to the next button.

-Also in Chrome, on the "Select Service" first booking page. When you click a different dropdown category, all the text inside the popup wiggles around until the box loads the content in the dropdown. It slowly shakes. Just wanted to point that out for a future fix.

A: Powered by Bookafy does not go away. We might be able to make it a little more discreet. But we don’t plan to have it go away.

I agree on the emails, I will see what we can do about that. Its in the dev plan now, thanks for the feedback.

You can add text to the emails, but beyond that most of the text is pulled from the data. Date/time/location/details, etc.

Paypal, its on the list… but wont happen soon. It’s a really big undertaking, and we have a lot of other things we are trying to get to as well. But we will get there eventually. I personally don’t like paypal at all, and much prefer stripe. The combination of theugly UI with paypal, and the huge undertaking to do their API… isn’t a great recipe. But ill get there as soon as I can.

We cant really disable the booking page. But I highly doubt someone will randomly come across it. Ill see if we can <no follow> it somehow.

Yes, it can be used as a stand alone calendar. In fact, many of our customers use it that way and don’t even offer online appointments for their customers. They book themselves, and use the system to send confirmations, reminders texts, review requests, etc.

Yes, the admin can receive appointments or not. If they receive appointments, they will get notifications for their own appointments
If another user gets an appointment, the user email will get an email for the confirmation/reminder.
You can elect to have the admin receive all emails, but yeah… that’s a lot. Its default set to not receive, but it is an option (and a feature requested from a current customer).

# of appointments per day, the short answer is no. But, there are many hacks to work around this. We do have it in the cue to limit appointments… but for now you can limit availability by setting the hours available, adding breaks mid day, blocking times from your personal calendar and having manual start times… which means you could say you only take appointments at 10, 11 and 1130 if you wanted. Or whatever combination you prefer.
