Overall good impression
I like the minimalist approach, easy tagging, no folders, and easy searching, but I do not like that I have to login every other week. I use the same computer and browser everyday and I'm logged into the same account in my Chrome browser so I don't understand why I have to also login to this tool repeatedly. A minor nuisance.

Great Product
Helps keep everything in order. The only thing is when using the chrome extension it does not populate the description. I know it says (optional) but would be a time saver from going to the main program to capture the description. But over all I'm satisfied with the software.

Great little pickup!
I do wish it offered greater flexibility with its layouts, but it's got all the basic features I need. I really dig its minimal design and the ability to pin tags in the sidebar. At $20, it's worth a go!

Bad design and idea
I am not sure why SaaS company feel a need to dictate how our workflow should be, like reqiring a google account, requriing to sign into google in order to use the saas tool. This is a very bad idea. I have e-mail forwarding that I use to sign up all websites for privacy and spam issues. I clear cache all the time. After clearing browser cache, I am no longer signed into browser manager. What a joke. Instant refund.
A smarter design is to have sign in with any e-mail, access is stored without cookies. Allow for any browser to access a unique long url, by accessing this public url, I can see all my bookmarks no matter signed in or not, so I can set it up as my homepage. This tool is useless to me at the current state, I have 0 desire to use it.

I'm sorry to hear that you don't like it. There are always multiple ways a feature can be implemented. I guess I can't always make it work for everyone.

Powerfully minimalist!
I'm a seasoned bookmark user, having used and tested over 15 (yes, 15) bookmark managers in the last year alone. I was also a Raindrop.io user for the last 3 years while seeking out an alternative. And this bookmark manager is it!
Pros:
Lightening fast to find my bookmarks
Web app, desktop app, Android app all sync seamlessly
No annoying folders to sort through
No fancy divisions for PDF, video, article, doc, etc.
No way to share links with the public, so it's just MY bookmarks.
Easy to drill down using a simple, but POWERFUL, tag system to find that one idea you're looking for!
Cons:
Current updates do NOT include a way to sort all bookmarks (other than the tags; i.e. sort alphabetically, sort by last saved, sort by most popular). For me, not a biggie since the tags are so fast to locate my saves.
No folders. That's a big YEEEESSSS in my books since I'm sick of sorting by folders.
Only one view for bookmarks currently and it's not so minimalist--it's a larger rectangle with the website and tags, but it's quite bulky and takes up lots of space. This feature does appear to be in the works, though. I personally prefer a gallery view and a stripped-down list view of just the website icon and name.
I hope the developer doesn't start adding too many frills to the app. Or, they at least allow users to toggle off and hide features they don't want to ever see or use.
Overall, totally what I was looking for: a powerfully minimalistic bookmark manager.

Aug 18, 2024Thank you very much for the great review and your valuable feedback!
I love to hear that it resonates. The product is minimalistic on purpose, and I will only add features that don't add complexity (compared to the value they add).
However, more views and sort order options will be added and are already in progress.
