Q: Can you use relational fields?

Like have a field in a CRM from a custom database? An example would be say locations in a custom database and have a multi-select type relational field in the CRM.

A: Hey there thank you for your question.

So one thing that you can do is that you can create custom field in Boost.space - let´s say location for the specific contact and if this field is in the CRM or if you have relational field in the CRM you can map this location to Boost.space - that is definitely possible.

So basically it is possible to get those data FROM the third-party tools to Boost.space since you have the option to add those custom fields. What is not possible or it depends on the third-party application is when you create a field in Boost.space and you want to send this data to another app that is not ready to receive this data ...but we are in no control over that so it will depend on the app :).

I hope I understood your question and was able to help you.

I was thinking more of a full database like Airtable. Do you have to use the custom module with the scale plan? Or can you add a field in the "Tasks" module that relates to a contact in the "Contacts" module? So you could tie tasks to contacts for example?

Hey, thank you for following up.

Yes we do have a custom field for that :). Thanks to this custom field you can connect the record from different module and space.
