A: You don’t need to connect to Freshdesk, Crisp, or any third-party service unless you prefer to. The built-in chat includes:

Unified inbox for conversations across channels

Option to assign conversations (Enterprise level)

Seamless handoff from AI to human agents

You can still integrate them for advanced ticketing, CRM workflows, or if your team already uses those platforms.

Both. They've their own live chat widget that can be embedded in your website or you can use their AI as a back-end of your existing live chat solution.
