Q: I find the description of this tool extremely misleading.
"Botletter is like an email marketing service but better." But it's not even close.
Appsumo and Botletter don't tell the MOST important difference of this tool and newsletter. You CAN'T send PROMOTIONAL messages.
The way you use this tool should comply with Facebook Subscription Messaging Policy https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/policy/policy-overview#subscription_messaging and the main problem is that Facebook does NOT allow PROMOTIONAL messaging.
The way I see it, NO Discounts, NO Sales, NO new products updates are allowed, unless you want to risk your FB account for that onetime chance of a high ROI.
I would really appreciate if such important differences were mentioned in product description.

May 15, 2024A: Hello,
Indeed you can't do sales with this tool. It's purely a soft sale tool allowing you to promote blog posts, product updates, news about your company or to promote your community achievements.
In case Facebook thinks you don't comply with their TOS, they will contact you before unpublishing your page. It never happened to Botletter's users so far.
