5 years established platform, really?
I'm not someone that likes giving a bad review, but I was just taken back at some basic issues I found just trying to get started.
The first problem was when signing up - the email verification sent by them actually ends up in my Gmail's email spam (ironically that the business is to keep your email in good standing). And when I read the email, it was just grammatically incorrect, here are the exact wordings: "Welcome to Bounceless! In order to get started, you need to confirm your email address. By confirming this email you accepte to receive promotion emails and newsletters from Bounceless.." Really this standard after 5 years?...
While it was legitimately correct that this product was started 5 years ago (at least the PHP github code they offer for their API verifies that - last commit was 5 years ago, which actually wasn't really a 'good thing'). Even the API URLs given in both their example PHP files have incorrect typos in them, which won't work if you copy and paste them.
And after I corrected the typos in the API URLs, I realized that the API returns "Error: An Internal Error Has Occurred." appended to the partially correct return results (which funnily wasn't even properly formatted JSON or other standards).
I'm afraid this makes it unusable for my use case... which I'm surprised about since it's just a common on the fly email check. The only upside is the UI looks pretty - though IMO not very useful for me if the basic API doesn't even work properly.
