Q: Credit usage
Hi there,
I really like your product.
I wanted to know if I analyze a website and then analyze another one, when I check the credit usage logs, it seems that going back to the first website uses another credit. Is this normal? Shouldn't it count as a new search only if it's a different website? Is there a way to avoid using extra credits for the same website?
Additionally, I encountered an issue where the page got stuck, and when I refreshed it, it used another credit. Is this expected behavior?
Thank you.
Daniel.

Oct 4, 2024A: Hi there,
Thank you for your kind words about our product! I appreciate your questions regarding credit usage.
When analyzing a website, it is normal for credits to be consumed each time you return to that site. This is because domain data—such as traffic, backlinks, keywords, and domain authority—changes frequently. To ensure you always have the most up-to-date information, we collect new data from hundreds of different sources daily and update the existing data accordingly.
To help manage your credits more effectively, you can use the Brand Report feature to save domain data for further investigation without incurring additional charges.
Regarding the issue where the page got stuck and refreshing it used another credit, this behavior can occur if the system does not register the initial request properly. We are continuously working to improve user experience and appreciate your feedback on this matter.
If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out.
Best regards,
