Avoid Breakcold – Unresponsive Support and Broken Promises
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Breakcold. I purchased their product on June 15, 2023, well within the activation window that extended through August 15, 2023. I was certain I activated my license, but when I later tried to access my account, it wasn’t active.
I’ve sent an exhaustive number of emails to Breakcold’s support team and received no response. After months of being ignored, they finally responded—only to refuse to activate my license. This is completely unacceptable and feels like I’ve been robbed.
While I understand the deal has since expired on AppSumo, if Breakcold ever returns, I strongly advise others to proceed with caution. A product is only as good as the support behind it, and Breakcold has shown they don’t stand by their customers.
Beyond this review, I will also be sharing my experience on other major review platforms like G2, Trustpilot, and various online communities to help others make informed decisions.
Pros: None. I never got access to the product.
Cons: Zero response from customer support after multiple attempts. Refusal to activate a validly purchased license. Lack of accountability and professionalism.
💡 Bottom Line: If Breakcold ever returns to AppSumo, think twice. A company that can’t honor its commitments and ignores its customers isn’t worth your money.
Since the AppSumo campaign, BreakCold added more social media platforms (Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.). But contrary to their promise ("All future Breakcold CRM (Tier 1) or Breakcold+ (Tier 2-4) Plan updates") LTD buyers are stuck with nothing but LinkedIn and email integrations. So if you like the idea of a social CRM platform and bought the LTD, you are stuck with 2 choices: either buy their product subscription at full price making the LTD purchase worthless, or use a forever limited version of the platform with upgrades stopped the minute their AppSumo campaign was over. They just renamed their plans so the plans they promised "all future updates" to no longer exist. Like the product, disappointed in the dishonest company that took advantage of the LTD buyers and sold us a bill of goods.

Good idea but need to keep promises
PRO: Really good idea, CURRENTLY it does the job better than most. Ie managing your LinkedIn pipeline.
CON: The founder is not honoring updates and is NOT providing all appsumo buyers with access to LinkedIn Inbox but only for tier 2 and up.
