5 Tacos from impressed Trello user

I'm impressed! I have been using Trello for the last years, and I loved it.... or let's say I quite liked it... the one thing I didn't like is that it got quite complex, with many options, optional Power Ups, ect. Whenever I invited a partner or client to a board, I needed quite some time to explain how everything works. You won't believe how many struggled to even login after they where acquired by Atlassian 😁 But overall I have always been very happy with Trello.

So when I first noticed the Breeze deal, I thought "oh a Trello clone, not worth trying". But I read on their site https://www.breeze.pm/compare/breeze-vs-trello that they try to make things simpler for project managers - and I opted for a quick test drive...

Here I am to confirm it really IS more simple and more intuitive than Trello... AND more powerful for project management!

Here is what I most like:
- less is more, I have all (Trello) features I need, plus some additional PM-specific ones
- love the "swimlanes" feature (to split a board by team, or by topic)
- the Tagging feature!
- simple color coding of projects and tasks
- manage multiple projects in a customizable roadmap view (or create your own project level kanban by topic, like private, business 1, business 2, ect...)
- very simple to manage users and clients (and to show/hide tasks from clients one by one)
- many more....

What I MOST like is the "task" view and its filter options: I can display all tasks (aka cards) in a list view, and then apply powerful filter (by project, list, user, status, tag, ect...). Then I can save the filter as a preset and use it with 1 click. Awesome!

All of the above is done in a simple, logic and intuitive way. The UI looks good, its not as pixel-perfect as Trello, but clean and minimalistic and I'm sure my clients and partners will love Breeze.

I am 100% sure that everybody who is serious about project management (and doesn't need Unsplash backgrounds, Giphy integration and stuff like that...) will be impressed with Breeze.

I don't write reviews very often but this one deserves my 5 Tacos.
