Pleasantly surprised and also impressed!
Like another user commented, I first thought Breeze was "another Trello clone" and I wasn't impressed by the number of reviews. I am so glad I finally gave it a try!
I was looking for a simple, yet efficient solution to manage our team's content planning and projects. I tried a number of alternatives but they were always either overwhelming for non-tech-savvy users or features were underwhelming and the tool did not meet our needs.
Breeze founders said they are building a tool for people, not machines. That is exactly what we were looking for. An easy-to-use, minimalistic yet powerful platform that allows teams to focus on their work without being distracted by tons of features that cannot be disabled if they don't need them.
If you look for shiny backgrounds and designs this may not be the tool for you, but if you look for a usable tool that helps you focus on your work, I recommend giving it a try. I hope the tool will get more attention as I feel it is currently underrated.
Some features I would like to see:
- adding a "workspaces" feature so we can better separate groups of projects (available to Appsumo users of course ;-) )
- option to filter tasks based on lists or custom fields
- possibility to see images on task cards, not just in the task description
- possibility to collapse a specific task column (in its width) so its content still present but "hidden" from the screen
All the best to the team behind Breeze
