Because we're so busy building and updating BreezeDoc, we don't post as much in this News & Updates area as we should. But that doesn't mean we're not releasing things.

Since the start of 2025, we've released 150+ new features, updates, fixes, improvements, and optimizations.

Every month, we email all BreezeDoc users these updates. You can see the emails we sent here, and subscribe if you're not receiving them.

Here are some of the biggest features we've launched over the past few months:

1. New activity page, and PDF, to better track your recipient opening, clicking, etc.
2. New "search" functionality, and filter functionality, in your dashboard
3. No branding on Legacy Tier 4/Tier 2 (Agency plan)! 🤩
4. Optional default values when creating fields
5. Improved signing disclosure message (for E-Sign Act improvements)
6. New ability to send invoices — and optionally connect your Stripe/PayPal
7. New expiration ability to expire documents automatically after x days
8. Newly-improved "send" flow... including copy links and faster sending overall

Plus, TONS of fixes to make fields display better and more accurately, and make your documents work better.

Big news today: You can now send invoices with BreezeDoc!

There are two great ways to send invoices:

1. From your Dashboard. All you need to do is click the "Create Invoice" button next to a document recipient, and we'll pre-fill the information for you. Connecting an invoice to a document is this the best way to keep your invoices organized.
2. From the new "Invoices" tab. You don't need to connect an invoice to a document; you can create an invoice for any client or customer you want and manually fill out the information. There's a ton of flexibility to create invoices that work for you.

Right now, you'll need a Stripe account to create invoices with BreezeDoc. We do not take any additional feels outside of what Stripe charges you.

Invoices is just ONE of the 30+ new features, updates, and improvements we've released so far in 2025 for BreezeDoc. 🥳

The best way to stay up-to-date on all our releases is to keep an eye on your email. Every few weeks, we send an email out to all users with the latest product updates.

Since our launch a few months ago, we're excited that 18,000+ of you have joined BreezeDoc (sending an impressive 27,000+ documents).

Since we launched, we've released HUNDREDS of new features, quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and other updates. These updates include better activity/audit trails, additional field types, improved document signing, and so much more.

Today, we're excited to introduce our new simplified, better tiers — the Individual plan (Tier 1) and the Agency plan (Tier 2). 🕺🚀

These new tiers give you even MORE documents per month. Previously, you were limited to a maximum of 40 documents... but with the new Agency plan, you can send 100 documents.

For all existing users/customers, your plans remain unaffected. You are "grandfathered" into the plan you bought, and your limits aren't changing. You will also continue to get other updates to your plans.

And, if you are an existing customer, and you want the increased document limits, you can follow these instructions to change your tier (or email the support@appsumo.com team to help).

Firstly, you guys are amazing. Two weeks post-launch, BreezeDoc has 3,000+ sign ups with 1,300+ documents created. Holy cow! We really appreciate your support. 

We've been hustling to keep up with all your comments, questions, and reviews — and I wanted to provide an update on compliance questions...

To start, BreezeDoc was built for the U.S. audience.

When building the product, we considered the "The Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-Sign Act)" in the U.S.

We built the product with an activity log/audit trail, unique links, defined email send ability, and other features with this consideration in mind.

Combined with our terms of service and privacy policy, BreezeDoc may be usable in many situations for your documents and agreements (especially if you're a freelancer, consultant, contractor, and more).

Of course, we still recommend you talk to your legal professional. Local laws and regulations vary wildly, and it would be impossible for us to say if it works without knowing you and your exact situation.

Because we focused on the U.S. market of solopreneurs, freelancers, and others in the startup/tech space, that means we did not build specifically for advanced regulations or international considerations. This means we did not focus on eIDAS, AES, QES, HIPAA, GDPR, and other "advanced" requirements right now.

Despite that, you may still be able to use BreezeDoc in non-U.S./advanced situations — but we cannot guarantee it. We may consider advanced/international regulations in the future.

Our goal with BreezeDoc is to create the simplest, most affordable e-signature product for consultants, freelancers, contractors, and solopreneurs. And with that focus in mind, I wanted to share an answer to a question we're seeing a lot...

"What happens if I want more than 40 documents per month?"

The short answer is there's no way to send more than 40 documents per month.

We don't anticipate that changing anytime soon either.

This is because we're hyper-focused on the individuals and entrepreneurs.

If you're running a business that needs to send more than 40 documents per month, we recommend you check out other products that are focused on higher limitations (specifically, tools designed for bigger businesses and agencies).

Keeping BreezeDoc hyper-focused on consultants, freelancers, and other individuals who send less than 40 documents per month helps us keep the price affordable and the features simple.

Remember, your plan's document limit resets every month. So, you can send more or less documents depending on your needs.
