Yes... I actually tried to let it go, but couldn't.

FOMO... Maybe, but not entirely...

You see, About 10 years ago, I saw a close friend attempt to create and launch a Directory Site... I witnessed his agony as he spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars attempting to put all the pieces together to make it a valuable resource for the community. However, in the end, he abandoned the project in a state of despondency.

From that point on, I never really thought or considered starting a Directory site of any sort...

But then, about 3 years ago, when searching for Membership website Platforms to possibly replace the one I currently use, I came across Brilliant Directories. It actually looked good and I did consider the Lifetime License - which I think was around $1,500... However, paying the Lifetime Fee and the $95 per month for the Add-Ons wasn't good enough to make me switch... However, it did make me think about how life would have been so much easier for my friend who went through all of that hardship attempting to start his own Directory site from scratch. Brilliant Directories would have made his life so much easier - and likely so much more profitable.

Anyway, when I initially saw Brilliant Directories here on AppSumo, I was pleasantly surprised and I knew I would grab a license of some sort before the deal ended (just because of how solid the Platform is). In the final hours of the deal, I toiled around between getting Tier 3 and Tier 5... My logic was I could get Tier 3 for $299 and save the extra $200 to go towards the 3 Lifetime Multi Site Package... With my extra $200 savings, utilizing the 75% coupon that would be like paying less than $300 for 3 Lifetime Packages (all of which already have 100,000 Members and the Developer Tools and I could use the 75% to get the Complete Add-Ons for at least one of those sites).

But in the end, I decided to go with Tier 5... The 75% off Coupon really was a major selling point in my decision... I'm sure I'll end up using it more than once before the end of 2021.

I've already activated my site just so I could look around, and I must say that I'm highly impressed with what I see. It's definitely a solid platform and since they have plenty of MRR, I only see them continuing to get better.

I'm glad I picked this up and I'm looking forward to building out a new site and monetizing it.
