Q: I currently use Octoparse which allows amazing usability for free.
Could you give a quick comparison as to what is differentiated. Are these scheduled cloud extraction rather than pc based? What am I laying money down for compared to Octoparse free version? Thanks

May 14, 2024A: Hey there! We have a comparison with Octoparse cloud version here:
https://www.browse.ai/vs/octoparse
All our automations run on the cloud, use rotating proxies, and emulate user actions.
Ok thanks, they do offer templates and rotate ip automatically. Not sure what you mean by simulate human interaction but they do do drop downs which seems you don't yet. Their free local version is limited to 10,000 rows per extraction no monthly limit and all paid versions are unlimited records. Anyway will have a play with yours. Also this 20 extra credits for premium sites that's not per record is it, I assume is per task ie 1000 records would cost 1020 credits? Thank you
As far as I know, they offer an option to use your own proxy servers, but proxies are not included in those plans you mentioned. In Browse AI, proxies are built in and picked automatically and you don't have to configure anything.
To be clear: Browse AI handles dropdowns or any other type of form element as well, it just doesn't generate input parameters for them yet that you can adjust later. That's under development.
Re. premium sites: yes, your example would cost 1,020 credits.
