Q: How much credit would it consume?

I want to take up a tier, but I am confused on how the credit system works. Is there any way that this credit system can be simplified so that I would know which plan would work best for me?

This was previously answered by Claire Hu who said: Credits are charged per step — 5 credits per action/step (NOT per data item). Example: a 5-step Hacker News scrape (navigate, click, scroll, extract 10 items, output) costs 25 credits — the extract step pulled 10 items but still only cost 5 credits. Tier examples: Tier 1 (20k) ≈ 4,000 steps (~2,000 simple pages or 400 complex items); Tier 2 (50k) ≈ 10,000 steps (~5,000 simple or 1,000 complex); Tier 3 (90k) ≈ 18,000 steps (~9,000 simple or 1,800 complex); Tier 4 (130k) ≈ 26,000 steps (~13,000 simple or 2,600 complex); Tier 5 (220k) ≈ 44,000 steps (~22,000 simple or 4,400 complex). Efficiency tip: extract more items per step (use Loop List) to reduce credits per item. How to choose: occasional use = Tier 1; weekly = Tier 2; daily/multiple projects = Tier 3; high-volume/agency = Tier 4–5.
