Q: Previous Ai Products ?
BrowserAct looks promising, but I have concerns about the project’s long-term viability and questions about your past products.
I almost purchased a lifetime deal for RemoteSpace, which no longer exists — the RemoteSpace page now redirects to BrowserAct: https://www.toolify.ai/tool/remotespace
Why did RemoteSpace shut down?
I also noticed that you appear to be partnered with, or part of the same group as, MimicPC, which previously offered a lifetime deal on AppSumo (this is stated on the MimicPC website).
Can you provide more details about these connections?
Finally, Claire Hu’s LinkedIn link is broken.
These details will help me better understand the team behind the project.
Thank you in advance.

Oct 21, 2025A: Hi, thank you so much for your thorough research and thoughtful questions. I really appreciate you taking the time to look into our background - these are completely fair concerns. 🙏
Let me address each point transparently:
About RemoteSpace:
You're right - we did shut down RemoteSpace, and I understand why that raises concerns. This was one of the most difficult decisions we've made as a team.
RemoteSpace was our earlier attempt at browser automation, and while it had promising technology, we realized we couldn't deliver the quality and reliability our users deserved at scale. Rather than let it limp along, we made the hard choice to sunset it properly.
Importantly:We provided full refunds and compensation to all RemoteSpace lifetime deal customers. We never left anyone behind - that's a core principle for us.
The Connection to BrowserAct:
BrowserAct isn't just a rebrand - it's a complete rebuild from the lessons we learned. The underlying technology shares some DNA with RemoteSpace, but we've:
- Rebuilt the architecture from scratch
- Added the zero-hallucination workflow system
- Integrated AI adaptability
- Focused on reliability and scale from day one
We kept what worked and fixed what didn't. It was a tough pivot, but the right one.
About MimicPC:
Yes, MimicPC is from the same founding team. MimicPC is still actively running and serving customers well - It's a different product - an AI-powered creative platform for image/video/audio generation and LoRA training with pre-installed AI apps. You can verify this by visiting their site and checking their active user community.
Why You Can Trust BrowserAct:
I won't sugarcoat it - startups are hard, and we've learned painful lessons. But here's what's different this time:
✅ Better product-market fit: BrowserAct solves a clearer problem with proven demand
✅ Stronger technical foundation: Built for scale from the start
✅ Active community: Growing Discord with engaged users
✅ AppSumo partnership: Additional accountability and support structure
✅ 60-day guarantee: You can fully test and verify our commitment
About My LinkedIn:
Thank you for catching that! I'll get it fixed.
Our Commitment:
We're entrepreneurs who've stumbled, learned, and gotten back up. RemoteSpace taught us what NOT to do. BrowserAct represents everything we learned about:
- Building sustainable products
- Supporting our users properly
- Making hard decisions early rather than dragging things out
I understand if our past makes you cautious - that's smart. All I can offer is:
- Our track record of making things right (RemoteSpace refunds)
- Our current product's strong foundation
- The 60-day guarantee to prove ourselves
- Our daily presence in Discord to support users
We're not perfect, but we're committed to doing right by our users - even when it's hard.
If you have more questions or want to discuss further, I'm here. You can also join our Discord (https://discord.com/invite/UpnCKd7GaU) to see our daily engagement with the community.
Thank you for giving us the chance to address this openly. 🙏
Same concern with me. I want to fully invest with a solid team and strong sustainability.

It's very concerning that deals can and do get devalued in the future. Vendors effectively get inancial backing and investors should get what the LTD deal promises and not have to worry about if deals are going to get devalued in the future. It's happened to me in the past on a least a couple of deals - if it happens too often what's the point of these deals.
