Unusable Except for the Lightest of Tasks
I originally left a 3 taco review as the desktop was a little unreliable. Now it is a complete waste of time. Crashes if you paste more than a paragraph.. grey screens continually. It is useful if you work with tiny amounts of text. This looked amazing to start with .. but I am now moving back to Notion. Also, appears to have stopped any updates since the campaign. Huge regret with this purchase.

May 30, 2026Sorry for hear that.But many of our users are actively using the desktop version. This sounds like a bug that we need to identify. Could you try clearing the cache in the desktop app? Dozens of people on our team collaborate on Buildin every day, handling extensive requirement documents, project management, and knowledge bases. If clearing the cache and reinstalling the desktop version doesn’t solve the problem, please email our customer support, and we’ll address it as soon as possible.
Also, we have indeed been rolling out updates, including UI improvements and bug fixes. We’re about to launch BYOK, custom domains, and Buildin Agent.
