Thank you for your interest in our app. I will try to answer you questions 1 at a time:
1 - What is this tool? - Butterflye is a customer and employee engagement app - Picture this: You're tired of weekend crises, frustrated employees, and customers asking, 'Why wasn't I told about that?' That's exactly why I created Butterflye. We're the employee and customer engagement app designed to prevent those headaches. We empower companies to share critical updates, gather instant feedback, and take swift action. With Butterflye, you'll never hear that question again, and your organization will thrive with seamless communication and alignment.
2 - Something like Jira? - We believe the app can be complimentary to Jira and other tools out there. Our goal is to ensure that everyone is on the same page and has the ability to feedback their concerns when needed.
3 - Who is the target customer - We look at this as targeting the people implementing change i.e. Product managers, Ops, Engineering, Marketing and Product Marketing. They need to communicate to the rest of the company i.e. Customer Success/Support, Solutions Engineers etc. This is where the internal collaboration and feeds come into play. Subsequently, your customers need to know about things too and thats where your external/marketing friendly feed comes into play. In each of the feeds, your internal/external customers will all be aligned and able to provide feedback of which you can action. Support calls go down, Mondays become less about "fighting fires" and more about getting on with everything else.
4 - What do you mean by collaboration here? - Within the app you can choose to simply post an update, article or whatever to your feeds. However in some scenarios, you may want you product team to inform the whole sales team of an upcoming update or idea. Here you can start a capture then pull together a collaboration ticket and invite sales as collaborators. This way, the teams on the revenue side can have a voice. Say, a large customer has an edge case, it so happens the sales person knows about this... they can inform the PM's that we may have an issue here and get it resolved before it goes live and causes days of stress etc. As we build our the app, we will add further functionality to the integrations with chat apps.
