A: Hi again, if you disable the FontAwesome import via the Buttonizer site settings, you can import your own FontAwesome settings. We unfortunately currently do not support any other font-libraries, but we'd love to see if we can add them in the future! I'll discuss it with my colleagues :)

High performance is indeed a priority of us, we are always deploying updates to a worldwide network (CDN) so Buttonizer is always fast. We're also making use of a technique that deploys widgets worldwide so they're always loading quick on the end-users side. This way the widget API should respond in within 21ms on average!
