A: Hi, with Buzzy, you can create two types of apps from the same Figma design:

Option 1) Native App - this is a real mobile/tablet application that runs on phone or tablet and can leverage the devices features like offline maps, camera & geolocation as well specific operating system capabilities. There are multiple ways you can create a native application typically requiring coding in the native language like Apple's Objective C or Swift or Java for Android.

Alternatively you can use coding languages like React Native and Flutter. Behind the scenes, Buzzy uses React Native, but the good news is you don't have to code this, we have you covered and our native application interprets the application definitions you defined in Figma.

There also are web wrappers, like Cordova and Phonegap that wrap up a responsive web site to behave like a native app, but essentially it's a responsive web site (see below) trying to pass off as a native app. The first version of Buzzy uses Cordova, but we moved away from that to React Native a number of years ago to get a more performant and truly native experience.

Option 2) A responsive web site/app (runs in a browser like Chrome, Safari etc) that will run on your desktop or phone/tablet's browser but it's basically a progressive web app. This is fine for many use cases, however, it will not be able to perform a number of key native features.

The ability to have both Native and browser apps is a killer feature, as you can create a solution where you may have some users using native mobile apps, while others use the browser on desktop or mobile, all fully integrated as part of one solution.
