I tested out Bytes today and I was thoroughly impressed. Why did I pick this up? If you want to teach and monetize in 2026, you have to get straight to the point. I grabbed Bytes to see if it could actually build a micro-course fast.
It delivered. I took a PDF, fed it to the AI, and had a mobile-optimized micro-course ready to sell in under two minutes. You can even hook up Stripe and charge for it right inside the tool. Options matter when you’re building your strategy, and Bytes gives you immediate ways to gate your content and get paid.
I bought Tier 1 just to test the engine. For $69, it gets the job done if you're bootstrapping.
But let’s keep it 100 and call out the flaws. (Nothing Major) The presentation upload feature is a bit wonky. I uploaded a gorgeous 16:9 Gamma presentation, and Bytes squished it into a 9:16 layout. (I was able to kind of fix this through some testing) It also didn't generate a quiz at the end for the presentation upload like it did for the document upload.
I don't mind it. I operate by staying Grateful for the speed, Intentional with my edits, and Never Attached to perfection. Unpolish the process. Go in, fix the minor AI hiccups, and launch the asset.
Grab Bytes, build a micro-course, and put a new digital product in the market today. 5 Tacos Certified. Not perfect... but for what it delivers? Perfect for me. I highly recommend you give it a try.

We really appreciate the honest feedback about converting a presentation. Because we prioritize mobile-first, bite-sized delivery, there are some formatting differences compared to a standard 1:1 PowerPoint or 16:9 slide. Our Product team is actively looking at improving these processes for document transformation and conversion, so watch this space!
If you need to add a quiz at any point in your course with AI, you can! I've just included the steps below in case you want to test it out - this allows the flexibility to not just have a quiz at the end, but anywhere in your byte to check for understanding.
To generate a quiz with AI:
1. Add a new screen: Click 'Add screen' in the lefthand side bar to add a new screen anywhere in your course.
2. Choose the Quiz option from our interactive screen types
3. Then, select 'Generate quiz' to instantly craft questions based on all of your existing content, some of the content, or a prompt.
