Q: Hi team!

Can't find anything about importing data in your docs. Whether coming from Webflow, Wordpress, or any other data source. Say that I have blogs and other page types exported as CSV, what's your best practice advice to get this into Caisy?

A: Hi Marston,

You've brought up an important point. Importing data, especially from platforms like Webflow or WordPress, can indeed be challenging, as it often includes intertwined CSS and data that need to be correctly mapped to match the blueprints in a headless CMS like caisy.

We are in the process of creating a comprehensive guide on import/export processes in our documentation. However, as this is a complex topic that can vary greatly depending on the specifics of your project, we would love to offer you a more personalized assistance.

Could you please get in touch with us on Discord? We could take a closer look at your specific use case and advise you on the optimal way to proceed. Once we've figured out a solution to your issue, we'll post a guide here on AppSumo to assist others who might be facing the same challenge.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Thank you, Valentino. I'm not (yet) considering migrating, for now just wanted to know what you offer to support this. Webflow (my current CMS) handles page types similar to your blueprints, with various custom fields and data types (number, date, string, etc). So an import option with field mappings from the source CSV to Caisy would be ideal, but sample code for how to use mutations may also work. Good to hear you're already working on a guide 👍 I will certainly reach out if we need assistance with migrating, thanks.
