Great tool, with a lot of room to improve

First of all, we really appreciate Camelo and enjoy using it in our daily operations. It already covers many important basics very well. Below are some improvement ideas based on real-world usage that could make the app even more powerful and user-friendly:

In chats, it is currently only possible to upload photos. Support for PDFs and other file types would be very helpful for sharing documents.

When templates or presets are changed, existing shifts are not updated accordingly. An option to apply changes retroactively would be useful.

There are no separate wage layers for weekends and holidays. This is important for businesses that operate 365 days a year with different pay rates.

Photo previews sometimes fail to load, which can interrupt communication.

Dragging and dropping shifts does not trigger the settings for recurring shifts, which can lead to inconsistencies.

It is not possible to delete multiple shifts together with their future recurring shifts. This currently only works for current shifts.

Replying to specific messages in chats is not available, which would improve clarity in conversations.

Access rights cannot be applied to folders. Folder-based permissions would help with better organization and control.

There is no automatic clock-in when an employee’s phone connects to the business Wi-Fi. This is actually the most requested feature from our employees, as forgotten clock-ins happen quite often.

Some functions are not available on mobile, even though mobile usage is very common for staff.

The camera cannot be accessed directly from the chat. Photos always have to be taken beforehand.

Admins cannot edit current shifts. For example, if someone forgets to clock in and stamps in late, admins are unable to correct the stamped-in time.

Media attachments are not possible in the Team Feed, which limits communication options.

Overall, Camelo is already a solid and useful tool. Addressing some of these points would significantly enhance usability, especially for larger teams and businesses with more complex scheduling and wage structures. Keep up the great work, and we are excited to see how the app evolves.
