What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?
Across the 3 of us, we have launched, built and cycled through businesses in Hospitality (Dessert Bars and Burger Restaurants), Fashion Technology (Digital styling & personalized store based on your Style DNA), Consulting & Coaching (Digital Marketing) and Logistics.
We built each of these businesses from the ground up with zero external funding, which has engrained in us an integral understanding of our Capshovians' entrepreneurial aspirations and desires (and a HUGE appreciation for community!)
Our winding (and at times tumultous!) journey brought us to AI SaaS with Capsho, not because we were techy folks wanting to build something cool, but because we are entrepreneurs wanting to solve a big problem for people doing hard - but meaningful - things.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?
We created the very first version of Capsho in 2022 as a solution for the weekly job we hated the most as entrepreneurs with a coaching business to run: writing our podcast episode's title and show notes in order to hit Publish.
We launched a super clunky Alpha version of the world's first AI Show Notes Writer 😎 in stealth mode at Podfest in May 2022. When we saw hordes of people willing to wait ~20min bearing the terrible conference Wifi just to see their titles and descriptions, we knew we were onto something.
Our OGs told us titles and show notes were just the beginning and that they also needed emails and captions and blog posts etc. So many of them were on the brink of podfading and we realized that Capsho would help keep them in their zone of genius.
We had found such a compelling and meaningful problem to solve that we closed down our coaching business to focus on Capsho full time.
Since then we have extended the product to create over 30+ content marketing assets and expanded to serving not just podcasters but YouTubers, Livestreamers, Speakers, Authors and more.
What problem is your product solving and how?
Many content creators are burning themselves out creating content for multiple platforms to grow their audiences. And even though there are many AI repurposing tools to make this process quicker, the results are often lukewarm.
The outputs are generic and same-same and creators using these tools face more overwhelm from having to figure out how and where to use this repurposed content for actual impact.
Capsho helps you save time by repurposing your audio or video in just minutes (efficiency!) but not at the cost of quality. It creates a full suite of content marketing assets, designed with marketing experts, in your tone and style.
So that you can reach (and convert!) more of the right people on more platforms in less time.
What’s the #1 thing you’re looking to gain from the AppSumo campaign?
We're really looking for word-of-mouth on the very specific ways content creators and marketers are using what Capsho creates.
You get so many personalized assets with Capsho from just one upload, and we want our Sumo-ling Capshovians to share about their unique use cases.
What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?
We have a lot of exciting options on our product roadmap and want to prioritize the right features to drop next, based on our new Sumo-ling Capshovians' feedback.
Any details to clarify about the deal?
Capsho currently returns outputs in American English and does not support other languages. (For the record: as Australians living in the US, it does pain us to drop the "u" and use "z" instead of "s").
Once we crack the code, we hope to turn Capsho into the multi-lingual diva she was always meant to be!
