We've built Captain Data to let anyone easily extract and automate web data: there's a lot of automation platform out there, but none are really built to be easy to use and ready to scale.

The platform has been designed with extraction and enrichment in my mind - automations are available in the form of easy-to-use templates, with specific how-to guides.

❓ What are workflows?

A workflow is a chain of one or more automated tasks, or in other words, steps.

❓ What are tasks and how many do I need?

Each saved result for an automation executed on a workflow counts for one task.

If you have a workflow with 2 steps, let's say one step is a search with 10 results and another step visits the 10 profiles: this will account for 20 tasks - or 20 data output.

1000 tasks is roughly equivalent to 20min.

At the time of launch, you won't be able to create your own custom workflows with an editor like Zapier or Texau. This is something we'll release in Q1 2022 - you'll be amazed by the endless possibilities it opens up for your business 🚀
