For non-English people a bit of a disappointment
I really hoped that this would work. Being able to use a pre-set library of template to give in a professional way personal messages, invites etc.
However, all the templates are in English and the text in the designs cannot be changed. There is an option to build / design your own card in Canva, and upload that in Cardclan, but what is then the value of the pre-set library. It is easier to mail the designed card right out of Canva by mail.
And more personal too, because the white label is not visible for the receiver of the card. They still see an URL in the cardclan domain, but for the receiver it is a value to see the URL of the sender.
So, the added value, ease of use, etc is not yet there for non-English people. That is a pity.

🌍 Current Situation
• Templates: all pre-set templates in the public library are in English.
• Text Editing: in those pre-sets, text blocks are locked; you can’t simply replace “Happy Birthday” with “Joyeux anniversaire” or “Feliz cumpleaños.”
• White-label visibility: even on your custom sub-domain, recipients still see a CardClan URL fragment such as cardcla.me/..., which breaks the “fully branded” illusion.
These limitations explain the “disappointment for non-English people” comments from March 2024–2025 reviews.

Duplicate a master card and localize manually.
Save as “Template – FR” version; store in your private workspace library.
Multilingual greetings (recurring)
Automate with separate Zapier paths per language.
Example: if country = FR, use French template ID; else English.

✅ If You’re Targeting Non-English Clients Now
1. Build reusable base designs in Canva or Figma in your client’s language.
2. Import once into CardClan and duplicate for each campaign.
3. Use your own sub-domain + SMTP so all messages come from your address and your domain (improves trust and GDPR alignment). 
4. Automate delivery via CRM triggers (Zoho/HubSpot)—you still get tracking analytics even for localized cards.
