A Game-Changing Productivity Tool with Room for some small Improvements
I absolutely love Centered! It has become an essential tool in my productivity arsenal. The built-in Pomodoro timer is fantastic, allowing me to work in focused bursts while taking regular breaks. The ability to add tasks with estimated completion time during sessions keeps me organized and on track.
One of my favorite features is the option to have background music while working. It really helps me get into the zone and stay motivated. The coaching provided by the app is incredibly helpful as well, offering timely nudges to keep me on track or remind me when it’s time for a well-deserved break.
While I find Centered to be a great app overall, there are a couple of areas where I think it could be improved. The calendar integration sometimes doesn’t work as expected, causing issues with meeting reminders and punctuality. It would be great if this could be addressed to ensure seamless connectivity.
Additionally, the reminders for upcoming breaks tend to come up a bit too late, leaving little transition time to wrap up tasks. Having earlier or more frequent reminders would greatly enhance the user experience.
Lastly, it would be fantastic if incomplete tasks from a session could automatically carry over to an "incomplete from last session" list. This would help me to be more organized when getting ready for my next session.
Despite these minor issues, I highly recommend Centered to anyone looking for a powerful tool to enhance focus and productivity. It has been immensely helpful for me, and I believe it can be a game-changer, especially for individuals with ADHD or those seeking additional support in their work endeavors.

So appreciate your feedback.
First off, you are right that sometimes the GCal link gets wonky. We are reliant on the integration we request from Google. Sometimes it does help to click your name in the top right corner of the app, then "Settings", then "Google Calendar" and reset the integration.
Side note: you can also adjust how long before a meeting that you get a nudge. It defaults to 5 minutes, but you can go wild with that.
Also - good point about allowing users to choose how long before a break they want a reminder. I hope you have found the "Session Timers" in Settings so that you can adjust how long you work/break.
Finally...if you click the "Tasks" button at the top right of the app, you should see a Task list that includes the incomplete Tasks from your last session. If I'm misunderstanding what you mean, apologies, and please let me know more precisely how you'd like this handled (or you can use our "Feedback" option in the app).
