Q: API inclusion

In your reply to my review, you said API is not included. But from your email 29 Jul:

Here's the honest situation: Initially, we didn't plan to launch API access as part of the AppSumo plan. The API functionality operates under our credit system, which required architectural changes to integrate properly with the AppSumo offering structure.

Please confirm if API is included?

A: Hi Leonardo/ A13 user,

I want to clarify the situation regarding API access so there is no confusion.

Our AppSumo lifetime deal pricing and tier descriptions which form the basis of our contract with AppSumo, list the exact features included in Tier 1 and Tier 2. API access was not part of any AppSumo lifetime plan, and this has been consistent from launch. While our Centilio Sign product profile and recurring subscription plans include API as a feature, the AppSumo lifetime deal is a separate, fixed-scope offering based only on the features explicitly stated in the deal tiers.

That said, after receiving multiple requests from AppSumo customers for API access, we worked to make it possible for lifetime users to try the API through a credit-based system without altering the original deal terms. This allows you to integrate and test immediately, with usage billed via credits rather than being unlimited/included in the lifetime license. The API documentation was shared with you on August 12 so you could begin testing without delay, even before the credit system was fully deployed.

To be clear:

> We have delivered 100% of the features promised in your purchased tier.

> API was never removed or hidden, it's simply was never part of the AppSumo deal scope.

> The API you have now is an extra accommodation beyond the original offer, made available because of your request.

We understand this may not match your expectations, but we have kept both our contractual obligations with AppSumo and our communication consistent. We remain happy to support your testing and to provide interim workarounds for your workflows until the credit-based API is in full production.

We’re sorry to see you go, and we understand you’ve already processed your refund for the plan. We appreciate the time you spent trying Centilio and wish you the best with your future projects.

We’re sorry you feel this way. All features promised in the AppSumo lifetime tiers you purchased have been delivered. API access was never part of those tiers, but we still provided documentation and early access as an extra, outside the original deal scope. This was explained in our earlier emails. We respect your decision to refund and wish you the best in finding a solution that meets your need

You kept saying give API, and didnt. Finally when you did, it didnt work. I dont waste more time to respond to you. It is best you spend time to improve your product then denying here.

API was never included in the deal, yet we still provided early access and docs as a bonus. Sorry that receiving extras beyond the plan ended up being a problem. Wishing you the best ahead.
