Certyfile is FULLY OPERATIONAL since several weeks ago....appsumo decided to deactivate the deal due to a temporary security issue, but as we tell you this has been solved and the system can be used without any problem.
A: Yes! You can use Certyfile to notarize any type of document, including printed contracts like your commercial lease agreements.
However, keep in mind that Certyfile works by certifying digital files (PDF format), ensuring their authenticity, timestamp, and immutability. If your contract is on paper, you would first need to scan and upload it as a PDF before certifying it.
Yes! Certyfile offers "API integration" options that allow you to seamlessly integrate our blockchain-based document certification into your existing platform, including legal document management systems. And YES: we have a plan for unlimited users, but out of this deal.
If you're interested in API-integrations or unlimited users plan, we’d be happy to discuss your specific requirements and provide details about them. Feel free to contact us at info@certyfile.com, and our team will assist you in finding the best integration solution.
Thank you for your question! Certyfile does include advanced security features for PDF documents, but let me clarify the specific functionalities:
1. Blockchain Certification: Certyfile ensures that any document shared through our platform is certified on the blockchain, providing immutable proof of authenticity and timestamping.
2. Tracking and Audit Trail: Certyfile provides tracking of document activity, so you can see when the document is accessed, viewed, or signed.
3. Copy and Download Protection: While Certyfile supports secure sharing, it does not currently offer built-in DRM (Digital Rights Management) features such as disabling copying or downloading of the shared document. Instead, the focus is on verifying and certifying documents' integrity and authenticity.
If your use case requires additional protection like disabling copying or downloading, we recommend complementing Certyfile with specialized DRM tools for maximum security.
Let us know if you'd like more details or a demo of how Certyfile can fit your specific needs.
This was exactly my question. I have world class training manuals that I want protected and was looking at DRM protection. That has its own limitations and disadvantages. Are there any specific DRM products that you know to be compatible with Certyfile and would recommend?
Without DRM, in my use case, your product is useless to me.
Regarding compatible DRM solutions, Certyfile is designed to work alongside other document management tools. Some DRM platforms we recommend exploring are: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Digify or Vitrium Security. These tools can be used in tandem with Certyfile to combine blockchain-based certification with the level of DRM protection you require.
Q: Initial Verification
For the initial verification, if I use my personal ID, is this the one that will show in the final uploaded file verification?
Use case - our organisation runs coaching programs. We issue multi-page PDF certifications. We want to upload these to blockchain via Certyfile so that it can be verified as authentic and issued by our organisation.
How do I go about this?
Also, if for any reason Certyfile ceases to exist, what happens to the docs already uploaded?
Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in using Certyfile for your organization’s certification process! I’m happy to address your questions in detail:
1. Does the initial ID used for verification appear in the final uploaded file on the blockchain? No, the personal ID used for your account's initial verification is not linked to or displayed on the uploaded files or blockchain records. The verification process is simply to authenticate your account and provide an added layer of security. The blockchain record will reflect the authenticity and integrity of the uploaded documents, ensuring they are verifiable as issued by your organization.
In your case, Certyfile is ideal for uploading and certifying your multi-page PDF certifications for coaching programs. The process ensures that recipients and third parties can easily verify the authenticity of the certificates through the blockchain without exposing personal or private details about the uploader.
2. What happens to documents if Certyfile ceases to exist? All documents registered via Certyfile are permanently recorded on public blockchains. This means the integrity and authenticity of these records are independent of Certyfile’s platform. Even in the unlikely event that Certyfile ceases operations, the blockchain remains operational and accessible for verifying your documents. You and your certificate holders can continue using blockchain explorers or compatible third-party tools to verify the records.
If you have further questions or need assistance setting up your account or workflows, feel free to contact us. We’re here to help!
Thank you for your interest in CertyFile! Let me answer your questions:
About Additional Use Cases : Beyond the examples in the use cases section, you can use CertyFile for any situation where document authenticity, immutability, and timestamping are critical. Some examples include: - Creative Work Protection: Certify authorship and secure intellectual property for music, art, scripts, or designs. - Financial Documentation: Validate invoices, receipts, or financial statements to prevent disputes. - Partnership Agreements: Safeguard terms and commitments in business or personal collaborations. - Proof of Compliance: Certify adherence to legal or organizational requirements for audits or reports. - Personal Use: Prove the existence of personal documents such as wills, letters, or records in a specific form at a given time.
About Legal Recognition: CertyFile’s certifications use blockchain technology to generate immutable proof of document existence and integrity. While this technology does not replace official government-registered processes in many jurisdictions, it provides: - Legal weight in disputes or litigation as evidence of time-stamping and document integrity. - Compliance with laws and frameworks in multiple countries, such as the EU eIDAS Regulation for electronic time stamps and similar global standards.
The blockchain certificates issued by CertyFile can complement existing legal frameworks in countries like the EU, USA, and many others. However, specific legal recognition may depend on local regulations.
If you have a specific country in mind, I’d be happy to elaborate further.
Feel free to reach out with any additional questions!
Thank you for your interest in Certyfile! Please note that the **White Label option** is not included in the promotion available through AppSumo.

A: Yes, you can use Certyfile with any type of digital content. But Certyfile is not "a platform to create NFTs of whatever you want". If you buy a subscription at the Certyfile web (so not an appsumo deal) you can create NFTs of content registered on Certyfile.
A: Hi, This is not a "traditional notary" service, because this an "electronic and decentraliced notary" service based-on blockchain technology. Certyfile generates a certificate with a digital time stamp and a digital fingerprint of the registration, so all the evidence are generated digitally. Cheers.

Q: Im looking for a solution providing blockchain cert to people who completed an online learning course
Can this be done? Please explain the process, as I am a bit new to blockchain. Secondly, in the above case, is your service similar to blockcerts.org? Thirdly, can I show those who completed the course a form of digital cert that shows it is a blockchain cert (e.g. PDF, PNG, etc)? Thanks
Yes, it can be done. And the BEST: you don't have to know anything about blockchain, as Certyfile already includes a module for certifying online courses or other types of training. Also Certyfile includes a verifier (similar to blockcerts.org). And yes, Certyfile includes a digital cert (PDF) that shows it is a blockchain cert.
I was about to click the purchase button for two codes, when it dawned on me that I need clarity on exactly what can be white labeled. It says White Label included. Does this means I offer this valuable service to our clients as an add-on service? I look forwrd to your response so I can proceed with my purchase.
A: Dear user, Although Certtyfile has the possibility of whitelabel feature, this Appsumo TLD NOT INCLUDES this feature in the offer. So if you are interested in having whitelabel option you must contact us at hello@icommunity.io to provide you with a customized proposal.
A: Hi, API integration is a feature NOT included at Certyfile product, because Certyfile is a stand alone product. So if you want to have API feature you should contract another iCommunity product, iBS-API, here: https://icommunity.io/ibs-icommunity-blockchain-solution/#pricing
Q: Will you have to bring the blockchain to court ?
How does a blockchain-based legal contract operate in a courtroom? Will this work for a living trust, and have you ever had to go to court? Could I provide this as proof that I am a trustee in a trust document signed using your platform to a bank, DMV or other organization that requires legal proof? I hate paying for notaries, so will this actually replace a notary? Thanks
This depends on your jurisdiction and what is required. This tool only proves that a given hash of a file exists at a specific time. So you take the original document and the receipt to court. Hopefully the blockchain is still operational when you need it or has been properly archived. The court can then find the appropriate blockchain online (likely Solana for low fees) and check that the hash of the original document matches both the receipt and the value in the blockchain proving that the document has not been tampered with after signing. You would be better finding a local bank that offers notary services as an account perk.
Dear Nathan, please don’t confuse people saying that “This tool only proves that a given hash of a file exists at a specific time”, because this not correct. All the hashes generated by Certyfile are correlated with a digital identity, created after the identity verificación process is ok. In this way any legal authority can trust in Certyfile evidences.
By other hand, Certyfile use Polygon, a robust and strong blockchain public network that serve thousands of corporate solutions. Also you must know that in the hypothesis that Certyfile disappear or you don’t want to use it any more, you will continue having access to your evidence.
A: With the first coupon you have 200 annual registrations. If you buy more coupons you will stack 300 credits more per each new coupon. So, if you buy 2 coupon you will have 500 annual registrations (and so on)
A: Estimated Yvon44, of course. With the platform you will have a global digital notary in your hand. A powerful tool with which you can generate certified evidence of your documents in Blockchain very easily.
