Q: Hello, I saw this "Lifetime access to Chanty Custom AppSumo Plan" and instantly my alarm bells went off.
1. I would safely assume that ALL summolings like to be mapped to an existing and clear plan, considering how badly many of us have been treated by rogue vendors who turned around and crippled our plans.
And speaking of rogue vendors,
2. What is your association with Hopin, and Hopin's management? Your ex-CEO now works for Hopin, one of the Vendors here who absolutely tuned on its appsumo base. He was promoting your product intensily at some point, and currently is part of the absolute disregard for the terms under which Hopin sold its product here on Appsumo.
So as he was your CEO, I am convinced that the same approach most likely had and maybe has some weight on how you will treat us as well. There might not be causality there, but even a correlation worries me.
Why have you created a custom plan that has no legal equivalent in your business? If you can fix that, I would love to look into your product, but until then, I see no point in gambling.
3. Finally, everyone now here sells "features". Then 3 months later they develop and deploy features not listed "above or in the box" as Appsumo so elegantly puts it. So where do those future features fit in this custom plan? Where in your terms inside and above the box...does it mention that we will receive future FEATURES, not future "updates." Otherwise we may be investing in a train that can be pulled on a dead track anytime you wish. Just like Hopin did and does now with your ex-CEO in their team.
Sorry to be blunt, but it's just business.

I'm seriously considering stacking Chanty. But the fact that
1. you haven't answered Bo's questions causes me to worry. Also
2. not enabling permissions on the appsumo deal is a deal breaker. And
3. creating a custom plan for appsumo instead of mapping the deal to the business plan is the final straw that causes me to walk away from this current deal.
I know appsumo comment moderators will not like me saying what I said and they may probably reject my comment. But, as far as I'm concerned this deal is broken.

I have to say, I think Bo's question deserves an answer. It is direct and perhaps a bit harsh, but better to answer the tough questions now, here. Answering them here for all to see can also save you a lot of support hours (and a positive answer could encourage those undecided to buy).
Chanty looks great, and good on AS for getting it here and your team for offering it. It's now Plus only members, and they may be the ones who care more about the answers.
